Today is only the second time Iíve used Wyeast. I popped the inner packet and it swelled up tight in about two hours. I just want to make sure thatís normal. Itís Wyeast 3068, mfg 07may12. Thanks.

Yup thatís perfect. They say it takes 3-5 hours, but if itís nice and puffed it should be ready to be sanatized (the pouch that is) and added. Whatcha brewing?
