1) Touring northern Lithuania with Oakes and discovering the tradititional Lithuanian farmhouse beers at Snekutis farm in Pasvalys.
2) A week of touring countless breweries in Franconia by bicycle with friends.
3) Ratebeer Japan Summer Gathering.
4) Touring South Africa to try to get to and document all existing breweries at the time.
5) Ratebeer European Summer Gathering in Plzen with adjoining Prague pub crawl. My kind of beer.
6) Drive up the the North American west coast from San Diego to Vancouver with massive tasting at joet and expert guidance from Oakes. Pelican itself is worth a trip.
7) Pub crawling Buenos Aires.
8) Discovering St. Petersburgs many brewpubs.
9) Spending a full sunny November day discovering the brewpubs around Miskolc, Hungary.
10) Any time I’ve been to UK. Drinking cask session ales in a friendly atmosphere.

Epic day/evening!

March 2006, Struise farm, first visit, barbeque, ostrich steaks, Mikkel, Urbain, Philip and the families, Pannepot on draught, the flatlands of West Flanders, an early evening mist laying ethereally over the agricultural fields. It changed my life.

Any Ratebeer roadtrip to Belgium/Netherlands with Mesandsim, MagicDave, Maieb, Kook, MadMitch76, Duff, Reakt - great beers, great friends, I’ve never laughed so hard.

Portland, Oregon

Bamberg this year, became my favourite destination outside of Belgium.

Yep, Plzen was exceptional for me. Loved that weekend.

Always good to see Per in the UK. London Crew I think is one of the best in the world. You come, we will show you a good time.

Tie for #11 of course
Having to work takes some fun away from a trip...

Mine would be my first trip to GABF a few years back with my sister. Visiting Boulder Beer Co., Avery, The Great Divide, stopping by awesome beer bars like The Falling Rock, and of course, the festival itself. Great time. Can’t wait for my second one this year.

Going to Door County, Wisconsin for a whole week recently. Enjoying New Glarus Moon Man Pale Ale each of the seven nights we were there! An awesome, lower ABV an calories similar to Deschutes Mirror Pond. Actually, I am enjoying one as I type this - Prost!

inspired by this thread I finally finished a writeup of an incredible two-day visit to Cantabria, Spain where I dumb-lucked into a sidra festival

Back In May 2011, my gf and I were on a roadtrip and randomly stumbled upon the Eastern Shore Brewery in St. Michael, MD. Didn’t know it at the time, but that would evolve into making a point to stop at at least one brewery during almost every trip we take. Beer became ’our’ thing, and not just ’my’ thing.

We’ve since been to DFH, Wedge, Pisgah, Nantahala, Adirondack, Lake Placid, Odell, New Glarus, Piece (Chicago), DC Brau, Ithaca Brewing, Westbrook (Charleston)
