88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20 DWestrick (24) Ft Wayne, Indiana | September 2, 2012 one of my new favorite brewpubs - great beer and food - perfect environment! | 42 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 6/20 Canuckale (2) Alabama | August 16, 2012 Stopped in to pick up some swag and fill my growler. Place was super super busy. After a small wait was able TI get my growler filled. Beer is fantastic here. My only issue is with the customer service or lack there of. Bend is a fantastic town and this place does not live up to the same level as the rest of town. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 19Ei8hty (72) Washington | August 3, 2012 You can tell this place is unique from across the street with its huge garage doors opening the dining room to the patio and the exterior bar allowing the wonderful scents from the kitchen to waft around the neighborhood. The style is modern with industrial flair. Food was fantastic as was their $10 10 beer sampler. Only had a dessert and their beers but the food smelled great. This place is a headliner attraction for Bend brew tours - if you are planning on spending a lot of time at any one brewpub, do yourself a favor and make it this one. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 idedek (14) | July 29, 2012 nice place with a lovely patio. really good clams | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Ferris (78) Edmonton, Alberta | June 5, 2012 Very trendy and busy. Mixture of indoor, patio and outdoor space. Very hip and vibrant crowd, which I am not really interested in. Being so busy, service suffers but was acceptable and I didn’t eat just tried a few beers. Beer was good although mostly their brews. If you are looking for a quiet pint, this is not the place to go to. | 82 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 raphael (33) Portland, Oregon | May 17, 2012 Place was bustling at 5 on a Wednesday, beautiful day, patio full, everything ran so smoothly. Service was knowdegable, quick and checked in frequently. I’ve loved the beers already, like the ISA, and good to try some special ones like the IIPA and Pray for Snow. 4$ for an imperial pint is very solid. Almost had a pizza, which look and smell very good. Had fish and chips--their shoestring fries have the perfect crispness.Almost didn’t notice the space, as it was so open, especially with one of the patio garage doors open. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 savnac (226) Anchorage, Alaska | August 10, 2011 Had lunch here on a sunny, afternoon out on the patio. Clean and modern with an industrial edge. Service was ok, it took us a while to get served but it was a nice day so we didn’t mind too much. Really nice selection of beers, lots of variety, some typical offerings plus some higher end barrel aged and seasonals. Food was good, some lighter items as well as the typical brewpub menu selections. Value was average for beers and food. Another great place in Bend, damn these locals are lucky. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 dukefan (57) Dallas, Texas | September 14, 2010 Nice new place just west of the river in Bend. Beer is quite good. Enjoyed a reasonably hoppy IPA and a Belgian Abbey done on Cabernet barrels. Food also excellent - great pizza (pesto) and salad (dried cherries and candied walnuts). Probably the best brewpub to have a meal in while in Bend. Beer is solid - would be awesome in my state (TX) but seems like "normal" for Oregon. |
