This may be my new favorite place to drink/dine in Dublin. HUGE beer selection. Half price happy hour. Had a drink at the bar before being seated and bartenders were extremely attentive. Gorgeous taps behind the bar. Food menu is small but a very nice variety. I prefer this type of menu over one that is 12 pages of everything you can imagine. When our dinners came the food was amazing, and well priced. My wife had the bistro steak and it may be one of the best steaks she’s ever had. The lobster macaroni and cheese was wonderful and full of lobster for only $15.99. Our server was very attentive, fun and knew the menu/beers very well. Decor is rustic, yet elegant. The beer menu is long and varied, would maybe like to see a bit more description with each offering, and that’s really my only criticism. I love that they feature local beers and locally sourced food.

101 Beer Kitchen has a continuously changing tap list. Prices on high side and food is just fair. Service at the bar was good and personable. Worth the visit, but there are many options now available in this area to chose from.

I think this place is going to get better and am looking to go back. I need to preface this by saying that. Great beer selection, food was a little pricy, I came with my wife and daughter during a slow Sunday, I had 2 drafts under 8 bucks and we had a soup and 1 appetizer and 2 personal pizzas and still spent around $75 after tip. The Chef is good and is trying some new things and I think he will definitely make the right adjustments. A lot of great craft beer, unfortunately, they were out of a lot of stuff and the server knowledge needs a touch up. They had trouble giving me a recommendation on several beers, on a side note a friend of mine went there and ordered an IPA and they were out of it. The server tried to tell my buddy to order a Pranqster as it is an IPA. He said no thank you then called me immedietely to tell me the server at 101 Beer Kitchen thought a Belgian Golden Ale was the same as an IPA. Food was solid but still seems like the Cef is trying to get into his groove. I hope he does. I will be back just not in a hurry.

(Visited 12/2012): 101 Beer Kitchen occupies a space in a strip mall on Sawmill and Hard Road formerly taken by a BBQ place. There is ample parking in the plaza.
The inside is segmented by a couple restaurant seating areas and a bar area in the center. Stone and wood motif, and there is a fireplace in the bar. There is a large chalkboard behind the bar listing what beers they have on draught. Growlers are used as water pitchers which is a nice touch.
There are over 20 draught selections with some choice offerings from the likes of Stone, Fat Heads, Two Brothers, Hoppin’ Frog, Green Flash and Bells. Bottles number close to 100. They do tap takeovers and tapping events as well.
Service on my first visit was top notch. They had only been open a couple months but after talking beer with our server she sent over the bar manager who outlined their long term plans which includes brewing their own beer in the future. The staff clearly cares about craft beer and promoting it in Dublin, which is sorely needed.
101 Beer Kitchen’s menu highlights their rustic made-from-scratch philosophy. My colleagues and I had a variety of appetizers (pretzel, perogis, and tater tots) which were all very good.
Overall this is a great beer spot by any measure, and it really stands out in Dublin. I will definitely be visiting here frequently.

Stopped in for dinner with a couple of coworker. Has kind of an upscale feel to it and is much more of a restaurant than a beer bar. Nice decor with lots of wood. Service was very attentive as well. Really like there menu which has burgers, sandwiches, some nice apps and a few tasty looking entrees. Had the salmon burger which was tasty. 20 or so taps with some nice finds like a Boris one-off and a Finch tap which was nice to see outside of Chicago. Good place to go with date or family too.
