Looks like a very big gas station type place, but with a pretty big selection of brews. Lots of sixers, but a good selection of singles, 22s, etc. Everything is kept in coolers. The place is big, clean, well organzied, and has a big walk-in cooler that has a few interesting kegs (Nosferatu!!). A good place to stop by.

Very nice store, always clean, blocked down and stocked. Great selection of 6pks, singles, and a lot of bombers. Always find something interesting to get.

Great store. Better selection than Riverside. Bells, Three Floyds, Southampton, Great Lakes, Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, Cantillon, Unibroue, Hoppin Frog (BORIS!), and a bunch of New England breweries that I don’t see in Pennsylvania. Great store. Fair prices. Easy to find in town.
Pretty nice place, looks like a dump on the outside. But inside is really nice. Most all of the selection is in singles it seemed, they had kegs for sale, though it looked like mostly BMC with a couple of Great Lakes mixed in there. Lots of Hopping Frog which is what I was there to find. Other than that, it was pretty much standard Ohio fare.
A big, clean, well organized store. All the beer is in coolers, which is nice. A cooler filled with singles was a nice feature. Selection was ok.

Probably one of the better beer/wine shops in the Greater Akron area. This place has a little bit of everything, from Macro cases, to individual beers that you can make a mixed sixer, to single pints/22oz’s of imports, and yes, even 40oz’s of Olde English. It has something for everyone, be it if you are a cheapo frat boy looking to score, or even something for the most discerning connoiseur. Seems like they have expanded since the last time I was there. The help could be better, but they are Kent State students, so their expertise is probably very limited. Definitely a must see.
Have been going to bottles since it has opened. I have known the owners and the managers for some time and they always are trying to satisfy both the college town and the quality drinkers. Service could be better, but you’ll have that in the college town with college help. Great selection of six packs and have all my favorites and some that I don’t know. I usually use another place in town for singles, but they seem to have a pretty good selection.
Not a bad place to buy beer, and carries enough of a selection of wines to satisfy most people. The selection (especially of wines) has certainly increased since Bottles took over the space formerly occupied by the neighboring video store. All the macros you could want, plus lots of cold micros.

Update 1/1/2012 - they took our an aisle of wine, added 24 taps and a nice small bar area.
This place has the best selection of beer at least in the Cleveland/Akron area, and most likely the entire state. Whether you’re looking for local micros like Hoppin’ Frog or imports, they’re most likely to have it. The selection grows and grows (and I’ve noticed that the macro/BMC selection keeps shrinking - this is a good thing!)
