An American style brewpub in the centre of Vienna. The food was OK. They were out of some quite interesting beers and 1516 brews were decent. Wifi wasn’t working. Would visit again if in Vienna.

Decent place a few blocks from the city center. Sidewalk and entry level where packed. The first floor was pretty empty. So the service was fast and friendly. I did not have any food but tried the Grapefruit Wit and the Black and Tan. Decent place and I would go again.

Nice location and outside seating adds to the experience (minus all the smoking), but the food sucked. The beef goulash was tough and the sauce was pastey, and the Weinerschnitzel was tasteless. They were very busy, so the service was both slow and a little unattentive. Seems like it’s a little too Americanized.

Nice place with a lot of character. We especially enjoyed the outside tables on a cool but very nice May evening. We did walk the interior up and down and liked what we saw...but there were no seats inside on a Saturday night. I especailly loved the tribute under the stairs to my beloved New York Yankees...an unexpected surprise anywhere in Europe much less a somewhat trendy brewpub/craft beer bar in Vienna! The night I visited they had 6-7 of their own beers...I tried 4 of them in .3l pours and enjoyed them. I was somewhat surprised to see several American craft beers on tap (Victory, Terrapin). The also had some local craft beers not labeled 1516. Although my review of this place is not as high as another I visited while in Vienna (7Stern)...I would definitely recommend a visit here...and I would like to come back myself another time when it’s less crowded...I might have a better experience...I owe them at least that for the Yankee poster!

Wonderful pub with a great atmosphere and knowledgable and friendly staff but often slow. Food is plentiful and they usually there at least 7 of their beers on draft. No bottles. Decently priced too. The beers change randomly

Could not agree more, very tourist orientated with a touch of Irish pub interior, dim lights, dark wood which seems to go down very well round these parts. The Irish pub over the road seemed to be doing a roaring trade. Food looked good and appeared plentiful. Beers were average. Service is hyper efficient, young and skin-tight, which tells you a lot about the intended clientele. Sooooo... wanted the beers to be knockout but ahhhhh. Worth a stop

Very touristic, but still worth a visit. Tried all the beers available that day: Styrian Pils, Terrapin Rye IPA, Hop Devil, Oatmeal Stout. All good but nothing to die for, even the Hop Devil wasn’t probably at its best. The food was good and abundant.

Very efficient service, good beers, the Hop Devil IPA is very good, didn’t eat but the food I saw looked good. Very busy with tourists but definitely a must visit when in Vienna.

Annoying service. I got asked by every single waitress if I have ordered anything to drink. Had the daily menu, which consisted of over salted soup with mushy croutons and under cooked pasta. On top of that I got a dirty spoon. No credit cards accepted under 15 euro and the wifi was not working. Poor selection of only 5-6 taps available, average beer at best. Waitresses with absolutely no knowledge of the beers served. Location was probably the only thing I liked.

A touristy American-style brewpub in the middle of the tourist area of Vienna. Easy to visit, good brews, decent food. Could perhaps be a little less yeasty, the beers. The waitress didn’t really know the beers well, but it was her first day on the job so that can be forgive. Service depends a lot on which waitress you get. Had about eight of their own on tap (incuding the schnitt and the radler).
