A restaurant on the market square that desperately tries to come across as something it is not. It tries to be very Czech but the result is rather kitschy. And what’s the point of having a menu in Czech if the waiting staff doesn’t understand even the most basic Czech words? The food is ok, the prices as well. The beer selection is limited to a couple Czech macros, of which Urquell and Kurusovice Cerne seem to be the most interesting ones. The biggest lowpoint is the staff. Not its lack of language skills but its unbelievable rudeness. Polite questions about the way the beer is served were met with arrogant replies, resent and sneer. You know, the ’you-customer-don’t-know-s**t, I-know-better-and-I-won’t-talk-to-you-type. Not in those exact words but in their meaning. Avoid this one, there is a lovely brewpub just across the market square.
