This used to be the old Raw Dawgs. This is a great new local bar in S. Philly. They have increased the tap lines- all craft now, great selection of locals, seasonals, one-offs, and a couple weird odd-ball selections- my friend around the block says they are constantly rotating beers so that is great. Prices were very good- especially $1 off pints at Happy Hour. Even better deals on Prima when the Phillys play- $3 pints. I had the new dogfish red and black, the new weyerbacher Diamond IPA, and some Bear Republic Mach 10. There were a few others on the list I hadnt had before but we didnt have enough time to drink everything we wanted. Bottle list is good and prices were very good too- 4 russian river bottles (damnation, redemption, salvation and something else)for about $10 each is good. Service was very good although it was nearly empty on an early saturday afternoon. Atmosphere is pretty standard for a corner bar in south philly, but it was nice. Food seemed like basic pub food, we just split some cheesy tots which were good. Overall, this is a great place in South Philly and I cant wait to go back.
