Very old fashioned looking place: the sight of the 3 handpumps here in Payottenland makes it all worthwhile. Just visit..

Very big place ( surprise ! ) just next to the brewery and shop . Ran by the brother of Armand . Service is phenomenal, very friendly, everyone made time to chat , even Armand himself stopped by . The lady works here for well over 20 y , which sais enough about the good atmosphere . Food was just too damn good , and huge portions as well . Everything appeared to be really fresh and taken care of . Value was also pretty neat . Beerlist isn’t to big, and in contradicition to what one might expect, not very 3 fonteinen based. Their core-range is made up with commercial beers ( Palm breweries - based ) , with some ’extras ’from the brewery , such as the geuze, kriek, ... Nothing to rare ( millenium or such ) , but the nice thing is the vintages . We took an 97 bottle for only 39 Euro ! The only downside here is the interior ( to me , it reminds me of what my grandma would call old fashionned ) and the music ( also from the late 30’s ???? ) But that’s just me and opinions may vary . Certainly will return , as this is a great bonus feature when you visited the brewery .

Nice restaurant with plenty of seating both inside, and outside in the nice beergarden. We visited before noon the first opening day after the summervacation, so no beer on the 3 handpumps yet. One of the servers very kindly offered to go to the brewery and fill a jar with lambic for me, Thanks! Some bottle avaible aswell. Nice english speaking service who took the time to talk with us about our travel from Denmark, and beery stuff to do in Belgium. Dirt cheap prices (2€ for my lambic) Would like to return some other time and enjoy some food with the beer.

Local place with very good traditional food. I had the Gueuze rabbit which was very good. Some special bottles at a reasonable price, we had the 2001 vintage gueuze for 30 euros which was in top shape. The best beer I had in Belgium. Service was good too.

This review will stand for both the shop and restaurant, since the brewery was unavailable for tour. We stayed only for a brief late morning visit, enough to enjoy a single bottle of a geuze in the restaurants gorgeous garden, and to purchase some gifts for ourselves and others in the shop. Lydie was overwhelmingly kind as she offered us tastings of the excellent spirit d’armand and offered another perspective on what to do in Belgium. A lengthier visit is in store next time.

Visited a couple of times in the past. Very quiet, cosy place. Easy to find, and parking close by if you are by car. They have several of their beers on tap, as well as bootle beers. You can either sit inside, or you can enjoy the good weather in the beergarden outside. Very friendly staff, and they serve great food that goes well with the beers. Great place to visit, go there if you are in the area. Check out their openings hours before you plan to go there...

Nice large restaurant full of old "locals"... there’s no beer tickers here. Fortunately, is was not too hard to get there... you can take a tram from Brussels to the Drogenbos Chateau (tram 82 from Gare du Midi) and then walk about 30 minutes or take bus 154 and stop at Hoogstraat. Service was a tad slow, but it’s not a problem when you have such good beers to enjoy. Selection is mostly 3 Fonteinen beers, but there’s a couple of gems on the menu... 3 Fonteinen Kriekenlambik, Lambik, Faro (there wasn’t any left when I went unfortunately), Hommage b2 and.... 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueuze 1997 for 39 Euros only! Food was excellent. Price for the food are ok and price for the beer is good/really good for rarer bottles and lambics on draught, but a little steep for some other bottles (Golden Doesjel @ 12,50 euros). Overall, a really nice place... I hope I will come back sooner than later and order that 1997 gueuze!

Visited maybe a month ago. Nice place, quite big, quiet. Good service, the food I had even better. Not much to say about this actually, more than decent restaurant ans as far as beer is concerned there where quite a few options. Prices for food were okay.
