Stopped in here for a quick visit before a meal at then restaurant next door. Grabbed a few interesting bottles from Armand, and he was generous enough to give us a quick brewery tour despite him typically not doing them other than the first Saturdays of the month - thanks Armand! Armand is obviously extremely passionate about what he does and the quality of 3 Fonteinen products of course represents this. If you can work this into your trip along with a visit to the restaurant I recommend it, but itís not an absolute must.

Visited on Friday lunchtime, 20/11/15, just a standard days trading and not a special event/open day which seem to spurn many of the reviews for this venue.
Located in the centre of Beersel, approx 7/8 minutes walk from the station, the bottle shop is located by the brewery and just round the corner from the restaurant.
Only the standard geueze available on my visit at the very decent price of Ä6 (something - canít quite remember the exact). In addition to the geueze they also had beersel blond and lager. The beer range is supplemented by food stuffs using the beer in their recipe such as pate and cheese add to this some baskets and T shirts.
Service was friendly and we were recommended some other local places.
Overall a solid stop to pick up great vfm 3F offerings but donít expect to stumble across any of the rarer or more limited releases.

Went for Open Beer Days 2015. Never was very busy. Took a tour very informative about lambic brewing. Had a fun chat with Armand, what a character(American sours are should be used for salad dressing). Decent selection and prices during the event. Had great day trip out to Beersel

Very nice place to visit. You can take a little tour of the brewery when itís open, and buy bottles in the shop. Thatís basically it, but the people working there are very friendly, and the beers absolutely amazing.

Visited during the toer de geuze 2015. We had the chance to have a brewery tour in English with Armand himself. The place is small and old school. Armand gave an excellent explanation in general about lambic, gueuze etc and then spoke about the brewery operations. The tour was highly informative and fun. I believe just seeing the cellar with the barrels itself is worth the visit. At the end of the tour, we visited the beer shop. They had the classic range of beers and also some merchandising material. The prices were excellent but you can just buy a few as the bottles are limited per person.

Stopped in here early one morning. We thought the restaurant opened at 10, but turns out that is false. The shop was open, though, so we walked around the block and checked it out. Itís kind of small, but they had all of their regular beers available, and by that, I mean the non-lambics and the Oude Kriek and Oude Geuze. They also carried the newest HORAL beer, T Shirts, and some glassware. It was a decent little shop, and the girl working the counter was super helpful. She even helped us change the language on our rental carís GPS from French to English.
The shop is located very closely to the brewery. Unfortunately, we were not able to have a tour the day we were visiting. Maybe next time!

Visited the 2nd May 2015 during the Toer de Geuze - Very nice place on the small city of Bersel. The brewery is really small. I did the visit in French with Armand, the awesome brewer. Armand is really funny and he is a passionate of geuze ! You will learn a lot about the geuze and enjoy the place. Great feeling! There is a shop really small with the 3 Fonteinen beers for a goof price.

I loved the feel and style of this brewery. Cheap prices in the stores. Staff was somewhat disorganized.

When you picture a Lambic/Gueze brewery, this is exactly what comes to mind. If you are serious about this style of beer, this is a must see.
