Very nice place. Great for lunch, sitting in the sun in the courtyard. Friendly stuff that gave as free samples when they found out we were conaisseurs. Had porcchops in geuze and loved it. During a unscheduled free tour Savad and I were given some tasting samples of their unblended lambic and a 9 year old geuze. The last one was close to heaven!

A real traditional Belgian place, that a beerlover has to venture to. Woodpaneled walls, stone floor, and somewhat used interior, but it gives me a good feeling of the traditionalizm. The service was very friendly, and when I asked for a beer they didn’t readily have, Armand Delbelder fetched it somewhere else. Draft Lambic, Faro, and Kriek, and bottled of vintage Guezes. The food my collegues and I had was excellent. Only drawback is if You have to get back to the center of Brussels by cab - no cabs are available in Beersel at night, we had to call two different companies and wait for almost one hour - this has nothing to do with the place, but where it is situated, and the way of the Brussel cab drivers.

More of an institution than a quaint cafe, I found. I sat out on the patio with the blazing sun and some draught lambik, then the faro, then the draught kriek. All top notch and cheap! They also had a selection of their bottles including some vintage gueuze and such. Quite busy with general folk and some were having lambic and (most) others wine. The food menu is great with lots of local specialties - I had the rabbit in gueuze which came to me in a large portion and was reasonably priced...it was also VERY GOOD.
Easy to get to from Brussels by taking the train to Halle and then to Beersel...after that it’s just a matter of conquering the 200m 10% grade with cars whizzing past you.

Love it! Had Drie Fonteinen lambic, kriekenlambic and faro from tap along with a dish of rabbit in gueuze - what more can one ask for? Friendly service too! A must visit!

Awesome beer notwithstanding, this is the kind of place I’d take my grandma. Food is really good, but not that cheap for what it is (which could be said of a bunch of places in Belgium). 3F lambik, faro and kriekenlambik are all great, though the lambik has been very up and down for me. Service is ssslllooowww.... of course in Belgium it’s usually slow but these guys take the cake. I’m not too concerned about food but they should be able to offer you a drink quicker than they do. Weird vibe, aimed at a crowd 30 years older than me I guess. I do like the place, but it either needs to be a lot slicker or more rustic to appeal to me.

Hand lunch here with DrNate03. Had the rabbit in kriek sauce. AWESOME stuff! Got the lambic, faro, and oude kriek on handpump! Worth making the trek south from Brussels. DrNate03 drove us, but it is my understanding that you must take a train to Halle then to Beersel if not driving. I’d imagine this would be rather inexpensive also. We went to the shop around the corner and I purchased six bottles plus some glasses. Great place!

Had lunch here. Tried their sampler of Faro, Gueuze, and Kriek on hand pump. Yummy. Good food for lunch, reasonable prices. Good prices on the beers in the bottle shop around the corner, too. Worth a visit.

Great lambic products available, as well as great quality food. Not easy to reach from Brussels. Affordable prices.

Interesting but more interesting is to visit the brewery. Make reservation.
Old geuze vintages available. There´s also a beer shop around the corner.
