Ambiance is dark basement collegel bar. A little drafty but inviting. Service was pretty good, especially when it got crowded and they have to deal with that many taps. Selection as far as taps is almost impossible to beat, 69 taps! from local stuff not found other place to other great beers from around the country. it impossible not to find several things you like here. Food was not fine dining but really tasy for bar fare. Value cannot be beat. Happy hour everyday of the week, $2.00 pints of all 69 taps and half off food, just incredibly awesome pricing!. Overall, worth stopping in even if not for happy hour just due to the selection of taps.

This may be a local "dive bar", but the selection on draft is unbelievable! Happy hour is every night and extended on friday nights! The great thing is that this bar is open every single day of the year at 4pm!

A college bar.they need to clean up the place ... sticky bar, place smells a bit. I personally like it but others will think it is ... just a college bar. good specials on drafts.

Hole in the wall is a gracious comment for this place. Ever since the OH smoking ban this place has smelled worse than a port o pot. The beer selection is good but the glassware is always nasty and this place just isn’t clean.

This place is a hole in the wall. The food is frozen, microwaved then served. Happy hour is amazing. $2 for any draft...ANY DRAFT. and there are 60+ good ones to choose from. The selection does not rotate very often so I try to stop by no more then once every couple months. The bar staff is very friendly.

Pretty average college bar aside from the 69 taps. The number of taps here reminds us of how much crap beer there is out there. You may find a DFH or Bells on tap here, but anything else would be a miracle. Typical bar food. They have some pool tables. Worth a stop only if you plan to be there for under 10 minutes to see if they have something halfway good on tap and its in the middle of the day and there are no crowds.

Total college hangout with what is a big selection but is all mediocre microbrews don’t go in expecting anything rare but lot’s of fruit crap and average brews. Went at like 11 on a Tuesday and service was fine because nobody was in there, bunch of tv’s up and lots of space. You can just tell this is about young people (which I am) getting shitfaced on good beer, selection was big but mostly crap with some ok stuff.

Best on tap selection in Akron.Great Happy Hour - $2 pints from 4 to 7 PM every day, till 9PM on Fridays. Great selection of microbrews including locals and imports. The bartenders will always give you a sample of any beer on tap to make sure you like it before you order an entire pint. Food is OK, mainly panini sandwiches. You can order in food from other establishment though. Service is usually great but I’m typically only there when the place is not very busy. 69 Taps is a hangout for Akron’s craft beer fans and homebrewers. There is always someone there willing to talk beer. In the summertime the outdoor patio is great. Some times they have live entertainment. It can get kind of crazy after 9:30 PM or so when all the college kids come out to play. I recommend just going for Happy Hour if you’re about the beer.

69 Taps is great, and they do have 69 Taps. Nice and low-key compared to other Akron bars. Happy Hour on Fridays, $2 / Pint for ANY draught!
