The NEW tap room is relatively large with long, wooden, community tables. Large windows provide plenty of light and a view of the brewery. Itís located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of easy parking. When I visited, they had recently moved in, so the facility was very clean.
The bartender was quick and friendly, but they donít serve food, so itís pretty simple. They do, however, allow you to bring in your own food and eat it there--and there were many restaurants within walking distances, so it was easy to bring something in.
They have six regular taps--and also had three seasonal beers and one guest beer on tap when I visited.
Beer cost three or four dollars a pint (depending on the variety)--which was a pretty good deal.

Great beers. Great service. Staff had knowledge. Cozy place and nice neighbourhood. I would like to have a place like this near me

Really neat place. Very rustic feeling bar and tasting room. I liked being able to see/watch the brewers and brewing equipment through the windows the next room over. The bartender was also knowledgeable about the beer and helpful as well. They really did not have many beers on tap while we were there, but I think that is primarily just due to their current size. The prices were average and their beers left me wanting. Worth a visit, just donít expect to have a new watering hole.

Small operation with really nice brews, friendly and attentive bartenders, and a pleasant makeshift patio area. Only possible gripe is freeway noise; but thatís a small issue, and I guess theyíre moving to a new location anyway.

Last spring I had a free day so I ventured out to see 7 Seas Brewing in Gig Harbor, WA. When I arrived there was this huge Hops aroma as they were brewing an IPA so the whole place was filled with hops aroma. I met Mike and he set me up the samples on tap so I could decide which pint I wanted. 4 sampler glasses came my way with a peanut snack mix which turned out to be awesome my traveling partner loved that the most. As for me I was there for the beer. The 4 pours I had where fantastic and the show stopper was the Port Royal Export Stout served with a small snickers bar which made it even better. The tap room can fit about 20 people and from first hand knowledge the parking lot can hold even more. From the tap room you over look the entire brewing works so when they are busy it is fun to watch them run around. I am going to say it now 7 Seas is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the future they have some of the best tasting IPA and Stout I have had in along time. I look forward to each time I go back and see what they have new. They are very active with lots of tasting parties and they even bring in bands. Join them on Facebook to know all they are doing.

Visited on Aug. 7th, 2010. Very small and intimate tasting room. Kind of hard to find on first attempt. Seems like a ton of locals and the hours are limited so it makes for a really cramped space. It canít be more than 10í x 18í at the most. Only four beers on draft when we were there. The cans to go seem a little steep. They donít serve any food other than some local mixed nut cups which were very tasty I might add. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I have never in my life seen such a high percentage of customers bringing in empty growlers for fills. This led to the Ballz Deep Double IPA blowing before we could get our second serving...and we were going to fill growlers too. The Rude Parrot IPA was out too and I didnít feel that the other three on draft were necessarily must haves, so we brought our growlers home empty much to my dismay.

Tough to find--note that this is in the parking lot of the Inn at Gig Harbor. Google Maps will take you to an autobody shop with a forest in between, so route your itinerary with care or be prepared to backtrack a couple blocks and look around for a minute. Just a working brewery with a tasting room--but, still, theyíre fully licensed and operational as a purveyor of pints and also beer to go, so it counts. You walk in and see maybe a dozen stools and a bar with 5 tap handles. Thatís as of January í10--no doubt they will expand the place a bit before they are ever tempted to move. You look through a cutout in the wall and see the brew room. Lots of space, nice big tanks and all the trimmings. Smelled great this afternoon--double batch of british pale ale happening. Very friendly service. Nice euro growlers with sand-blasted multi-color logos coming soon. Had a good time as one stop of a south sound brew tour.
