Really nice snug interior, own beers on the tap are so delicious - my favourite Marzen, Bamberger Rauchbier and Chilli bier is so sharp and hot ! If you are in Wien you must to stop here for some glasses of quality beer. Also you can take away bottles of beer from machine - extremly recommended :)

A nice looking brewpub not far from the Naturhistorische museum. 7 beers on tap, and yoy can buy bottles to go off all of them. You can either sit in the front room with the nice copper kettlles, or go outside to a nice garden, and sit shadowed by threes. Staffseemed tu busy, so the service was slow at times. But their beers and food are really nice. A must visit in Vienna.

A really nice Austrian style brewpub with a comfortable feel and atmosphere. A selection of around 7 beers on offer and are of good value. The menu is typical Austrian but the food is unfortunately only average. Staff is generally good but are not always friendly, and they don’t seem very interested at times. A very nice brewpub to visit for the beer enthusiast, and if you like any their beers, you can purchase a bottle from a vending machine on the way out.

large interior, big production put into the character of the place, so much so that it comes off as artificial. bottles and draft beer available, a lot to choose from either way, including a vending machine inside the outer door so you can take one for a walk. beer quality mostly good, it’s probably the best brewery for the beer hunter in vienna, in terms of selection and quality, but there is a noticeable lack of authenticity at this place both in the design of the building and the design of the beer. big contrast between places like this and rural spots in germany and czech republic.

MrReaves and I were on a quest to try as many beers as possible while in Vienna, and this place had a pretty good selection--something for everybody. We tried 6 of the beers available, and here’s a word of warning: if you are going to try the Chili beer, try it last because you’re taste buds are apt to be finished for the evening once you’ve had one. After we tried this one--it was a little too hot for my taste--all of the other beers tasted the same. They tasted like "just a beer" with flavors thrown in for effect. We’ll give this one another shot the next time we are in town. The service was extremely slow the night that we were there, and the place was far from packed. We are used to European service being, shall we say "laid back", but this was kind of ridiculous.

7 Stern Bräu, one of only a few true breweries in Vienna, a unique range of beer specialties are brewed using the finest malts, best quality hops and Vienna’s first-class drinking water. Unlike mass-produced beers with preservatives, 7 Stern beers are wholly natural and most of the vitamins and minerals of the grains are retained. Good quality water for brewing, careful selection of raw materials, no filtration and preservation methods, ample storage time of all 7 Stern beers until ideal maturity time and the skilled knowhow of our brewers, have made the 7 Stern specialties renowned throughout Vienna Neubau and the first of the beer com¬munity within a very short time.

Nice brewpub with some interesting fun beers. Great patio, seven beers they make right there. Great experience but if your in Vienna go to 1516. I will say the service was excellent and so was the food. The beer just not quite up to par with 1516

A nice brewpub with some good beers. I tried Märzen, Chilli and the Rauchbier. The Chilli was very different. The value of the beers was good, at least compared to Stockholm. About 3,50 EUR for a halv liter. The staff was reasonable friendly and the location was not bad at all.

Just came back from Vienna and I had to visit this place. I had the Käsespätzle which was good - but it needed salt. For this I drank their Wiener Helles and Prager Dunkles and for desert I trank a very small Bamberger Rauchbeer. All extremely well balanced beers. The service was horrible in a French way, but the beer was served proberly.

Beautiful ambiance in the brewpub with the nice authentic brewing equipment from the Salm-Brau. Very friendly stuff and really enjoyable beers. Lovely place!
