Very "hot" place because of Chilli beer. It is really spicy beer and You have to be hard to finish even small one. Generally nice place and rest of beers OK. Good location, close to city center. Must visit if You are in Vienna.

Very excellent brewpub. Visited here in late December, 2011. Great beers of high quality and good range. Decent prices, good food, great service. No smoking, which is awesome. Nice ambiance. Good crowd. Great experience overall. The place is in a very convenient location and you can walk there from the city center. A must-visit if you’re in Vienna.

A very nice brewpub. A fair selection of house beers including chilli, hemp and rauchbier. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the outdoor area at the back. My favourite pub in Vienna.

Nice place, nice garden, nice service, nice austrian food. Not a great selection, but they own brew with good qualities. Worth the visit.

Decent brewpup with a nice beergarden where 7 taps of various quality are served. Good Marzen, Wiener Helles and Sommerbock. Hanf (hemp) and Chilly beer I can do without. Prager Dunkles and the Ruachbier bought at the vending machine by the door are still unopened. Their beerbread is more about the tomatopaste with chilli than the bread...

(Holiday Austria) Visited this place in the afternoon. Didn’t try their foods, though all available beers. Served in 0.2 ltr samplers only. Staff is very friendly, helpfull, and experienced. Very cosey place inside and outside. Their beers are definately well brewed. Focus is mainly on german style beers. Be sure to drink the chili beer last, because they were not really subtle with the ingredient. Probably best place in Vienna.

Nice brewpub. They had 7 beers on tap. You can by them for home. If you prefer old fashioned bottles you can say to staff. Another option is to buy beers from beer vending machine. Beers were really nice, food was good, they have all Austrian classics. Also my vegetarian daughter was satisfied. Service was friendly and very quick including meals. Overall very good option in Vienna.

Slightly out of the way, but worth the extra couple minutes walk from Mariahilferstrasse is this gem of a brewpub. Inside it’s pretty massive, with seating upstairs and outside as well as in the huge main bar area. As far as I could tell, all the beers in the menu were available on tap, which is nice to see. The staff seemed unusually friendly, considering this is an Austrian pub! We were able to make orders for the next beer as soon as we had drained our glasses, but maybe this had something to do with our proximity to the bar... Overall the beers are of a very decent quality, with the Marzen, Rauchbier & seasonal Maibock being my personal highlights. If you’re in Vienna, definitely worth a visit. Plus there’s a BEER VENDING MACHINE. ’Nuff said.

I visited this place in August 2008, and they had most of their brews on tap, which was actually a bit surprise. The Rauchbier was well worth trying for, as was the Märzen.

Great little brewpub/beer hall/beer garden a little bit outside the Ringstrasse. Outdoor tables under the Chestnut trees were great. Had 7 of their beers on offer. I tried the Helles, Rauchbier and grabbed a Marzen from the afore-mentioned vending machine by the door. All were well-crafted, clean and very tasty. Great spot, if a little off the path for most tourists (which is probably not a bad thing, necessarily).

A really nice brewpub just outside the First District in Vienna. Unlike most bars in Vienna not too smoke, actually I didn’t notice smoking at all which was pleasant after coming home smelling like an ashtray every night previous. Nice selection of seven regulars and when I went an Osterbock. The food was great, never had boar before, and my vegetarian friend even found something to enjoy. The beer was good and a huge improvement on the thin lagers that seem to dominate the beer in Austria. I particularly liked the touch of the vending machine of their own beers in foyer, brought several home in my luggage.
