A few cans of Hungarian macro lagers in the fridge with a selection of wine and ciders on the shelf. Not really anything else there by way of beer.

As ogivlado said, a small grocery store (albeit seemingly a popular one as there were several people waiting for it to open around 13:30 on Friday and there was a little crowd in there the whole time) with several beer coolers and yeah, there are probably 50ish beers, a lot of which are quite rare for Budapest. Not sure if the guy behind the counter speaks English so rule out a chat but he does his job well and fast. The prices weren’t bad from what I can remember and this is certainly a must see for anyone who is hunting for beer in Budapest, even if unimpressive on a global scale.

A small kiosk south of the city centre. Looked like 30 Hungarian beers and 30 Belgian and other foreign beers and ciders to me. Not a place to look for rare Belgians, but OK selection for Budapest. I managed to find 3 pale lagers that were new to me.

Small grocery store (not really beer shop) right across Petofi Hid. At the time I was there only 50-60 beers available (mostly Belgian and Hungarian). On Saturdays are open from 1.30 p.m.

A little deli at the Boráros square where people can find some belgian beer, some cider and some real ales. If you want you could buy some mass producted hungarian stuffs too....You can buy other alcoholic drinks like hungarian palinkas(spirits), some wines. The shop always try to sell interesting beers. (in Hungary this is a hard thing...)
