Nice little neighborhood kind of place. Decent food, fair service. Pretty good beer selection, mostly local brews.

I really did not dig this place and I donít plan to go back. Our sever was horrible, flat out ignored us. I actually gave a bigger did to the server that did help us, even though we werenít his table. Between what beers they had listed on the website, where on the menu, and what we were told I couldnít figure out what they had. Didnít seem like anything special. The food was boring and bland. It takes a lot to get me downtown and this is not one of those places.

Pretty weird place. Itís a depressing sticky floor joint that looks like it hasnít had a proper cleaning since the mid-90s, but it features a pretty solid draft list of roughly 40 beers. Unfortunately, they donít keep their website up to date, so I walked in expecting to find some Surly on cask, only to be disappointed when the bartender told me the event happened a couple of weeks ago. Overall, Iíd never want to spend an extended period of time here, but itís worth a peek inside.

A nice local downtown bar that is a bit aged but has a nice feel plus a little area for outdoor seating in the summer. Service was a bit spotty but I was also there with a large party. Selection was the best I found in downtown with 40 beers on tap, the majority local/Wisconsin craft with a few macros. Prices were nice considering the location. I was impressed with this place for the immediate area.

About 40 beers on tap, ranging from macro to local Minnesota and Wisconsin beers. Food was good, fairly priced, lots of TVs for sports. Overall a solid place besides the service, which was awful.

Been to 8th street a number of times, including two weekends ago. The last couple of times I left with the same impression, disappointed in the beer selection. The problem is they try hard to put on a unique selectn of stuff you wonít find everywhere, however, their choices just arenít very good. Further, after holding an annual afternoon (read low traffic time for 8th st) gathering with friends there the past few years, they stopped offering us favorable (happy hour) prices and we went elsewhere this year. The place just has this feel like its going to go out of business soon. Under executing in a prime location.

Nice spot to go downtown and happy hour prices were decent ($3.5 - $4 a pint). Around 30 taps with some good stuff like Bells and Surly. Service was prompt and friendly. Would go back for another happy hour.

About the best place for beer selection right downtown Minneapolis (not including the West Bank of the U). Large selection of tap beers, and a few really good ones. Good food, good happy hour specials. Good spot.
