A bar thatís in Terminal B of the Charlotte Airport. Pretty much the same as the Carolina Beer Co in Terminal D, only with more space (and therefore a better atmosphere) and food (which I didnít try).

When I visited: Late March 2014. What I had: NoDa Hop, Drop íN Roll IPA (draught), Natty Greeneís Wildflower Witbier (sample), Dakota Smashed Pea & Barley Soup, Italian Chopped Salad and Original BBQ Chicken Pizza to split. What I liked: Plenty of seating, nice cozy table overlooking the runway and bar, quick and affable service, my girlfriend liked the music, well laid out beer and food menus, IPA was outstanding. What I disliked: Lukewarm food was mediocre and merely served as "fuel" for the day, drink options are solid for an airport bar but limited by conventional standards, no prices listed on the beer menu. Would I go back? If I ever have a layover at Charlotte Douglas again, yes. Overall Rating: 66

Stopped in during layover. Had a nice NoDa beer (Jam Session). Just what you would expect at an airport. Will give them credit for serving local beers. Did not try any food from next door. Prices typical for an airport location.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat - itís next to, and connected to the California Pizza Kitchen - a number of Carolina beers on tap, nothing spectacular, but certainly worth hitting if youíre not from the area and want a few NC beers. Staff was quick, nice. You can get a flight of beer - though you donít get a choice in the selection.

Another quick stop in CLT for food and beverages, with a different tap selection than Carolina Beer Company. The food is served from next-door neighbor California Pizza Kitchen. Friendly, prompt staff.

Visited during a longer layover. Offered 6 local craft beers draft, plus a handful of macros. They offer 20 oz, 12 oz and a sampler pours. The food is sandwiches and Pizza from the next door California Pizza Kitchen. A bit crowded up front, though there is fair amount of seating around the back. Service was prompt enough, beer freshness was decent. Overall, good place to grab a couple of local brews during a layover.

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Flights of NC craft beers in an airport? We will take it! My Broncos are beating the Raiders, and Iím having a flight of new ratings. Everything else is pretty standard airport pub style.

Decent little airport pub. Foothills IPA on tap along with a few other locals. Canít really knock an airport bar thatís at least willing to pour a flight of local craft beers. Food was blah, but what do you expect?

(Terminal B). For an airport bar, not too bad. They have beers from OMB, Foothills, and Red Oak. You canít have high expectation in the airport, but this one atleast exceeds those.
Iíve flown through the Charlotte Airport at least 100 times, granted Iím not usually trying to kill time, so I donít usually stop for a beer, but the beer selection Iíve found is terrible. This is the best place Iíve found, but it still isnít very good. If there is a better place it sure would be nice for people who know everything there is to know about the world to add it instead of insulting other community members for adding places that people may want to know about. When Iím in an airport Iíd like to know what place has the best beer selection, and Iím pretty sure Iím not the only one.

Been here many times, but didnít feel the need to disgrace myself with a rating on a site called "ratebeer". However since someone else started the madness, Iíll continue the descent. Choices are a bit limited in the CLT airport, but there are better places for beer if you have time between flights. The BBQ is OK. Update October 17, 2012: For the whiner from NJ whoís still learning how to use this site, hereís a spoonfeed for ya: a ratebeer rating for a much better place in the CLT airport! http://www.ratebeer.com/p/carolina-beer-company-charlotte-airport-charlotte/9660/
