Restaurant with brewery attached -- focus on the food / tourist given the location with some of their own beers to supplement. Food menu is quite extensive and everyone in our large party was pleased. The service was good, but the waitress is primarily a restaurant server. Had about 6 of their own beers on tap and the three I tasted were all okay -- no stand outs, but no real disappointments either. May be the best place in central St. Augustine.
a 2-level brewpub, with a smaller pub-like area downstairs and a larger, fancier section upstairs. 6 house beers on tap ranging from light lager to coffee brown to IPA. All were at least good (for style). Nicely priced flight available.
Visited here again in July í14 - had been her pre-RB days, Nice two-storied restaurant, slightly cramped, but they appear to handle crowds well. Service was slow initially, but once contact was made, things moved along swimmingly. Have about eight of there own on tap - nothing to set your world on fire, but always nice to get a tick or two or three. Varied menu - sandwiches, salads, seafood etc. - very reasonably priced for the location and my sandwich was very tasty. Great place to grab a bite and beer after traipsing through St. Augustine.
Wonderful ambiance in a historic building in the heart of downtown. A table on the balcony overlooking the old bridge and intercoastal waterway is a great place to sip the afternoon away. In-house brews are respectable. Food is quite good, and fairly priced. Weekday happy hour.
Dinner here in downtown St Augustine for a few days. We sat on the 2nd level balcony, great view of the streets and water. Ordered 2 of their house beers and a tuna steak sandwich, all very good. Friendly staff, busy place. Highly recommend though parking downtown really sucks in the evening.
Stopped in on a day trip and had lunch and their brown ale. Decent mahi sandwich with a good selection of food. The food was a little pricey for what it was but not terrible. Had their own brews which all looked OK. The brown ale was different for the style but not bad. Right on the water, so the upstairs outside seating was nice. Stop in if you are there.
12/31/12. Went here a couple of weeks ago on my first visit to St. Augustine. Itís a neat little corner store at the end of one of the main drags with 2 levels. I sat at the bar and talked to the brewer, so my service was spot on! The selection is to be expected at GB chain - their stuff and a few other "meh" choices. I did not try the food. The prices were average. Overall, itís a good stop for a decent brew when youíre in St. Augustine, but donít make a trip out of it.
