90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20
Updated Rating As of March í14 they now have a growler filling station with about 10 or so regional brewers and a few national craft selections - great addition! $3.99 for the first empty growler which you can back and fill for just the cost of the bear from then on. Engine 15, Cigar City, Victory, Swamphead - a few that they had on hand. Updated Rating Stop by at least every other week and they always have something new - for a ticker like me - that is what I am looking for. Original Part of a large chain that is found throughout Florida - and one of several in Tallahassee - this one seems to have the largest selection. Nothing rare or hard to find here - your typical German/British/Belgian commons and most are sold as singles. Better selection than your average grocery store though. Sadly, few US micros though. Has a large selection of gourmet snacks such as cheese, meats, crackers and condiments. Walk in cigar humidor is nice. Not a beer geekís paradise by any means, but if you are going to go to an ABC while you are in Tallahassee, this is the one to hit.

Itís an ABC, chain liquor store that all look pretty much the same inside. Service was minimal, they didnít ask if I needed help, but I was there for just a short time. Selection was above average for an ABC, one of the better ones I have been to. Prices were average, and you can get anything in a single; mixed 6ers are cheaper if you have their rewards card. Overall, its an ABC, but not ab bdad beer stop if youíre in the area.

Updating my rating. Old one is obsolete. Lots of micros, lots of big, limited run bombers. Three medium-sized aisles of micros and a large fridge wall. Unibroue, Bells, garden variety Cigar City, Founders, Ommegang, Southern Tier, Ballast Point, Mission, Stone, Nectar, Orval, Chimay, lots of common Belgians. Plus lots of macros and Sam to fill your fishing cooler. Clean. Kind of party central in Midtown. Prices are average.

6/1/13: Their selection has improved a couple notches and they rotate fairly regularly. You canít get cigar city one-offs or anything like that, but there is always something new.
Standard selection of micros in every ABC Iíve been to in FL. There are some regional brews that only they seem to carry - but they arenít exactly hunting down the highly rated or hard to find. Usually only stop here when Iím in a pinch.

Its ABC, you know what to expect. Cheap products, old dusty beer and believe it or not good service. I donít know if it was an off day or they hired someone new, but he knew what he was talking about. It doesnít change the fact that there was a very limited selection though.

No one seemed to be able to help me, but It was expected in a liquor store chain. 6-packs were generally moderate to minimal, mostly the obvious american micros with a few recognizeable belgiums. Bombers section has a few goodies, but nothing rare. Great place to pick up Pumpkin beer once the rest of Tallahassee runs out!

Iím new to Tallahassee, but I drove by this place and had been to an ABC FW&S before, so I thought Iíd stop in, remembering they have decent stuff. The ambiance was about what youíd expect - typical decent liquor store... the downside was the drunk borderline hobos sitting on the bench outside chugging Steele Reserve and smoking - but thatís Tallyís fault, not ABCís. The service was alright - the folks were young and not all that knowledgeable about beer, but they were helpful when I had questions, and seemed to know where most things were. The prices were average to slightly high in most cases on beer, spirits, and wine. As for selection - the beer selection is... okay. Not bad for a college town where the biggest seller is probably kegs of light beers, but nothing impressive. They do have a rather large selection of wine and spirits including a large "wine cellar," etc., but this is a beer site after all.

I was pleased with the selection overall for a college city who canít even hve their own brewpub? There were two stores in close distance to my father-in-laws, so I made trips to both. Since I am not usually stateside it was refreshing to get few well know US beers like Rogue. They also carried some imports. The store is a bit disorganized since I accidently broke a bottle of wine with my pant leg, who puts boxes at that level? Help was subpar at best.

if you can get past the employees that will confuse a stout with a bottle of wine the selection is mediocre for the area. i mean its a college town what do you expect. anyway they got a handfull of ROGUEíS, GREAT DIVIDE, and a some other decent beers, of course not cooled but still sitting on those black wire shelfs in the back
