Have visited A&A many times now... Felt compelled to finally offer my opinion.
Most of my visits have been on the "grave yard" shift after work, so my opinions may be slightly skewed.
Long story short, A&A is a beer geeks gaming bar. IMHO, itís the best local gaming bar in the city (which sounds great) but local gaming bars arenít really great at all. Staff is hit or miss... Lately, they have been wonderful with the current grave bartender being one of my local favorites (will return with her name).
Surprisingly good food and a decent selection of micros... even the most discriminating beer snob will find something they like or maybe even something new.
Way away from tourist Vegas, set in a sketchier part of town, makes a nice change... Open 24hrs! Yes craft beer bar open 24hrs! Outside it looks like something out of "from dusk till dawn". You enter into a completely dark and fully air conditioned high bar which is a welcome relief to the swelling heat. Selection on tap was mostly Imperial IPAís which I had trouble with as I was driving and already had one two many. Service was pretty good and food again decent nothing to mind blowing on tap but there are a load of rarities available in bottles. A REAL bar in Vegas. Must visit if you are a true beer geek!
Looks like a dive bar from outside, inside is dark with a big bar that unfortunately has game consoles covering most of it. Lots of TVís and 1 pool table. My first server (Amber) was great, very friendly and attentive. Her replacement was more interested in texting then helping the customers. I had to interrupt her to order another beer. As I was finishing my second beer 2 people started smoking, it ruined the rest of my beer. They didnít have anything special on tap but did have a cooler full of bottles that looks great, I didnít notice them until I was on my way out. I wonít be back.
A confused bar with craft signs inside and out, foam padding duck taped to the front door handles and video poker at the bar. Smoking is allowed which doesnít help when tasting. Service is very good and attentive, selection is awesome. Food is mediocre pub food and value is great if you go during happy hour. Paying $4 a glass for Bourbon County Barleywine is a steal.
Smallish place, pretty ugly from the outside. Small parking lot behind. Lots of gaming stuff here, but I found a gameless space at the bar that fit a beer flight and a very tasty app. For the flight, you just choose six four-ounce samples. Pricey, though, especially compared to other places, but of course they are bringing in some pretty interesting beers. Only one local beer, but they had just had a Lagunitas tap takeover and still had plenty of those. A worthwhile stop. Great staff. Ventilation good enough that I didnít knoe the lady sitting next to me was smoking until I looked over.
Stopped in on a Friday, 20 taps nice selection lot of high alcohol beers on tap only a few under 7.5% and itís not dinner yet so the 20 tap list was really smaller for me. Had a couple pints and wings and had a good time. Wait staff were friendly and hard working. Good destination.
Unassuming place east of the strip by approximately five miles. In a sketchier area of town. Smoking is permitted. Open 24 hours. Fourteen flat sceens that I can count. Service was attentive, friendly, and experienced. Of course it wasnít very busy when we were there. Itís quite dark inside. Hard to see. Particularly if youíve just come in from the sun. Menu is upper end pub food and very good. Horseshoe shaped bar with tables lining the perimeter of the establishment. A pool table on either end of the building. Taps of 20 beers. Several bottles too. A bit on the pricy side. Decent happy hour. On Sundays you can get half off of all growlers that are over $10.
Great place. Waitresses were very nice. Played several games of billiards with my daughter. Food was very good, and beer selection on tap is worth the trip from the strip. I went back a second time it was such a good experience. We were also there for their 4th anniversary, so all beers were $4.
The only bad thing about this place, people can smoke in here. Ate at lunch. Great breat burger and onion rings. 20 beers on tap most are pretty creative and unique. Awesome list. Nice atmosphere other than the smoke. Quick service. Really enjoyed this place Best in Las Vegas by far.

A $25 cab ride from the strip ($38 if your cabbie gets "lost" like ours did), but we thought it was worth it. Great tap selection, all $6 (some are not full pints), and an amazing "reserve" list that goes back to 2004 for Stone Vertical Epic and back to XIII for FW Reserve. Our server was excellent, and we let her try a few of the bottles we purchased-- in return she generously gave us several free bottles of quality stuff (we did not hint or ask, she just brought them over). We devoured the spaghetti pizza (not gourmet, but freaking good!). It has a dark interior, but not intimidating or ugly. A few pool tables and flat screens. Funny mix of beer-geek crowd and local Bud Light retirees, but it added to the charm. Worth the journey off the strip-- we will return for sure.
