I absolutely love this place. Great beer at unbelievable prices, terrific food and a perfect, downtown Louisville location. Attached to Louisville Slugger Field, it's close to just about everything and parking is always very easy. The people are always nice too. This is usually our first stop when we visit Louisville (we visit often) and we normally hit it up more than once when we're in town.

Stopped in with the wife for dinner while in Louisville. The vibe is great; clean and open with a good scene and awesome smells. The draft beer selection is limited but good, with seven house taps of some solid beers. Service was good as was the value. Iím really impressed! GET THE CHEESE GRITS!!!

Warehouse style interior with a nice sized long bar on the left and a bunch of tables. Good service. Tons of brews available, both their own and a handful of guests (Country Boy when I visited). Beers were quite tasty and the barbecue was good.

Nice place attached to the ball park. Inside seems really big with really talk ceilings, but there didnít seem to be a lot of seating. Service was really good, the guy pretty much knew his stuff, I like to ask a few oddball questions sometimes to see if they really know what theyíre talking about. Selection was pretty small but very diverse, everything we had was excellent. Food was good, kind of brewpub meets smokehouse, slightly on the expensive side for what you got. While we didnít have anything crazy good here, we did have some of their other stuff around the state and Iíd have to say they are the best brewery in the state. A must stop if in Louisville, hopefully they have some great beer on.

a: Itís pretty cool seeing two floors of the brewery behind the bar. Also, pretty neat to be in the baseball stadium.
s: Could be better, but they try.
s: Thereís always something new to try which appeals to me. They also always have at least one cask and three guest taps: local, domestic, and international. Great bourbon selection and interesting mixed drinks
f: Food is excellent. Lots of vegetarian options, especially for a smoke house. the beer cheese is sublime!
v: a little pricier than other brewpubs but worth it in my opinion

Went here this afternoon and was able to bring the dog. They have a great outside area where dogs are allowed. They had six of their own beers on tap and three from another Kentucky brewery. Not the greatest beers Iíve had, but they have a pretty high quality for such a small brewery. Decent selection on tap for a small place.

First, the service was excellent. Among the best Iíve ever had.
Second, The atmosphere tickles me. Having been to Browningís (the previous brewpub at this location), I expected the high ceilings and visible brew equipment. What changed was the diagram of the brew equipment in Street Art-style, the huge portraits of the (assumed) proprietors in their mohawked and hoodied glory and every listing on the On-Tap board is itsí own piece of art. The place is brash and arrogant. I like it!
Third, the food was good to excellent. The low score I gave reflects the lack of options and the menu that manages to not make anything enticing.
And now, the beer: meh. I had a Triple IPA that i would describe as "meek" and "inoffensive." There was an Irish Dry Stout that was comparable to Kaliber in flavor. I was so disappointed! I gave as high a score as i did for the ambition of having every tap rotating, but I think they need to knuckle down and just make good beer. It almost feels like they canít be bothered with such a thing.
Iíll go back in a few weeks. My fingers are crossed.

Hands down my favorite brewery in Louisville! Constantly rotating taps of 6 in-house beers (hop, smoke, dark, malt, session, and whim). What I love about this is there are no flagship beers! Itís always something different in all of those 6 categories! So itís a different beer experience virtually every time youíre there! Plus the always have several rotating guest taps. Smaller, more focused food menu, so not a lot of food choices, (although more than enough). Iíve never had a bad meal here! An absolute must stop if youíre in Louisville!

Nice place adjacent to Slugger Field. Inside is wide open with high ceilings and plenty of seating. The bar was long and the staff was nice and helpful. Only open since October of 2011, but the beers are outstanding as a whole. I didnít eat from the entrees, however I did have the pork risotto fritters. They were good but lacked any spicy character. Iíd come back if I lived near by. Who knows?
