While this pub offers an OK range by international standards they have staff who are extremely rude (not all just one) and for that reason alone Iíll not be back next time in Dublin. As a widely travelled 40 something craft beer afficionado, I can do without being patronised and smirked at when trying to get bar service. Pretty pathetic & luckily unusual.

One of the better stops on our Dublin bar crawl. Dark lit bar with about 20-30 taps. Some Galway Bay beers (paddle samples available) and a bunch of other interesting stuff from US, Spain, UK. Bartender was nice. Only complaint was that there were fruit flies everywhere which got kind of annoying.

Stopped in here after exploring the cathedral district of Dublin. The place is located more on the outskirts of the city, but there is still a lot going on in the vicinity. I actually thought this was a brewery before coming here, so it was a bit of a surprise when I walked in and they mostly had Galway Bay beers on tap and nothing with their namesake. That was just my mistake though. The bar is really cool. I ordered a sampler, which had to be made up of Galway Bay beers. No problem there. That brewery was easily my favorite of the ones I tried, and they had enough that I could fill it with ones I hadnít tried yet. The remainder of their taps were made up of mostly Irish craft beers, but there were other imports like Mikkeller, and some UK stuff. If I werenít in a hurry, this place is where I would have spent a couple hours working through the tap list and their bottles. If you can, give this place awhile to fully enjoy. It deserves your time.

L shaped pub. Galway Bay beers plus lots of interesting guests.
Nice feel to the place on a Saturday evening. Relaxed crowd and feel. Got a table and tried a few beers. All good.
Nice place and worth a stop

Full Galway Bay Range plus plenty of guests, served full craft style from taps on the back wall. A couple of hand pulls too. Beers available clearly displayed on a chalkboard, with a "Bomber" fridge for perusing at the side of the bar. Good food, reasonably priced. Sterling staff all well into their beer. Often busy so get there early if you want a table.

Visited several times given proximity to my hotel. This is a more modern boozer, away from the wooden enormous interiors that populate Temple Bar area of Dublin. They serve somewhere around 25 lines of beer, including some ciders and 2 casks. Circa 10 taps dedicated to Galway Bay beers, which to my surprise I found mostly excellent. Rest is mainly UK and US beers, but little special really (call it zero new rates in over 10 UK and US lines). Some 4-5 other Irish micros (the likes of Trouble Brewing, White Hag, White Gipsy). Prices appeared very reasonable, especially on Galway Bay beers, which you could combine in a 3 (third of a pint) glasses for EUR 5.50. Did not try the food as seemed limited to standard pub grub with burgers and bangers. All in all, a nice place, which I could see becoming a little uninteresting for a rater after 2-3 visits as 40% of beers are Galway Bay core range and 40% are standard offerings from well distributed breweries (likes of BrewDog, Founders, Sierra Nevada).

Basically a dive bar with good beer. The beer selection was centered around Galway Bay, which were not very inspired. Not much else on the beer list was that interesting.

excellent little boozer... big range of GB beers (as one might expect), a couple of Irish guests, and some overseas beers (including Thornbridge, brewed about 20 miles from my house!). Food looked good, though I didnít partake. Good friendly service. the 3 x 1/3 tasting trays are a very welcome feature

Nice, unpretentious little bar, got seats for 6 fairly quickly. Food was fairly priced and excellent, red headed waitress was lovely and my party was happy. Barman could have been a little more helpful as my guests were unfamiliar with craft ales but they were pleased with the suggested brews and all would return. Good range of beers but a little expensive.

Long narrow pub, one of four run by Galway Bay Brewery. Thirty beers on tap, two on handpump and a large selection of bottles. First visit last Wednesday. Sampled three Galway Bay beers - Full Sail, an IPA, Stormy Port, a porter and Of Foam and Fury, a double IPA. All superb. They were celebrating their fourth birthday so I got a discount on the double IPA! We also tried the sausages and they were excellent.
Will spend longer here next time.
