90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 19/20 finol (34) Stockholm, Sweden | May 17, 2013 As a local I come here for their draft and cask list which is the best in town. Nice standards, ever changing Casks, Cantillon, Germans, US and Swedes.
In addition to this they offer a "Limited release" bottle list of ~30 and a big vintage cellar of sours and other. | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 19/20 ChinoSkillzian (2) California | May 8, 2013 Visited 22 September 2012. Our group of 4 were seated in the nice quaint dining room with a lot of cool beer and Scotch decor. Obviously the bottle selection is amazing, but the food also really stars here too. We went through a number of bottles, all in great condition. An important beer destination! | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 15/20 Anvil99 (11) , | May 1, 2013 The selection is huge. Nice enviroment for a bar but the service was not ok. I had to return my lambic twice because it was bad, the bartender said that there was nothing wrong with, but it really was undrinkable. At last another guy came and changed the bottle. Good selection of vintage beer! | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 mcberko (134) Vancouver, British Columbia | May 1, 2013 The BEST bar I’ve ever been to. An absolutely epic vintage lambic cellar that makes any beer geek destroy his/her pants. The number of rare Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen beers available is staggering. Prices are high, but honestly quite reasonable for the rarity of the beers -- and cheaper than in Belgium, and cheaper than Man in the Moon (i.e. Narke Stormaktsporter is about 150SEK cheaper at Akkurat). The food is of top quality, and though expensive, is served in generous portions and on par for Stockholm. The service is also top notch: on the first night here, the lovely Ingrid served us for most of the night, offering us exceptionally friendly and helpful service, and even giving us some free snacks to thank us for our business. Worth traveling to from wherever you live. An absolutely world class beer establishment. | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 Nische (5) Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden | April 6, 2013 Huge selection and in general one of the best places in Stockholm. However pretty expensive, as Sweden in general. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 JensBrianLund (4) , Denmark | April 3, 2013 Excellent beer bar, with nice food. | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 20/20 BeerIconoclast (10) Arizona | March 30, 2013 My local pub when I stay in Söder. It’s not cheap, typical for Stockholm, but the vibe is so wonderful. I love the UK-style snugs, the cozy restaurant in the back, the real ale bar with hand pumps. The beer selection is of course ridiculous, with lost beers like original Rodenbach (!) in the cellar (they’re priced to match), but I often end up with whatever great schwarzbier or UK stuff they have on tap and stick to that. There’s usually a fantastic selection of Scandanavian micros, and Belgian stuff I’ve not heard of. The food is great, the menu has a few items done really, really well. I always meet friends here when I first get to Stockholm. Service has always been friendly and at times extremely so. Cool bartenders, so long as you’re not a stereotypical rude tourist you’ll have a lot of fun here. Watch out at weekends, Akkurat fills up quickly. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 fmandal (2) Steinkjer, Norway | February 25, 2013 All seats taken already at 7 pm on a Wednesday night, this is a popular place. And no wonder - with a very friendly atmosphere, knowing staff and a more than decent line of beers, this seems to be the place to drink beer in Stockholm. Their selection of IPAs wasn’t the best when I was there in late January, but I was told that was not the norm. And the lineup of vintage sours is just unbelievable. And as a bonus they have an extensive selection of single malts, too. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 martinen (39) Malmö, Sweden | February 13, 2013 A huge selection, but it seems I never find what I’m looking for there. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 dreadnord (32) San Diego, California | February 9, 2013 Really nice place with an amazing vintage list. Quiet during the day but at nice it is hard to find a place to sit. There is a place to dine in but you need to makes reservations well in advance. Great tap list, always a fresh Cantillon on. Friendly staff. Food was very good. It is expensive but so is Sweden in general, so this is no exception. All around great place! |
