Arrived here with my girlfriend on a Friday evening assuming we were a bit early and would not have any problems getting a place to sit. Boy were we wrong! The place was fully packed, but we managed after a while to get a bar chair to share. Great selection undoubtedly and the staff seems nice enough. That being said they had lots to do, so it’s as good as impossible to get a chat with them, at least in the weekends. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, and the room was filled with a strong smell of seafish. A must if you are in Stockholm, but for gods sake be there early! It get’s really packed quite fast.

Visited on a Saturday with SaintMatty. Great pub, vibrant atmosphere, nice line of taps, decoration is all about beer. Highly recommended. Wanted to try the food but they were fully booked. Will definitely visit again when given the opportunity.

Went there with some friends. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but it shows it’s worth from the inside. Enormous bottle list, good, varied tap selection, almost all of them were at least very good, some of the stuff on tap was rare too! The prices are typically Swedish high, but manageable - unlike BA, you can usually take a smaller glass of something. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Some food was available - sausages and such, guess matching some "Oktoberfest" theme. Theey seem to have concerts there too. Truly a great place and even my non beer geek friends liked it.

They have a great selection of beers from around the world and a great selection of Narke but being in sweden everything is overpriced. I even heard that Narke owner is upset with them for selling the Kaggen! for 425 Krona which is something like 60 USD. Great selection cool vibe but high prices...

Must place in Stockholm. When I was there, I couldn’t choose from wide selection. Waiter was very helpful and I tried some of Swedish beers and some excellent bitters.

GREAT PLACE. There’s no question about it. If you’re in Stockholm, this should be top of your list (with Bishops Arms Vasagatan in second place and maybe Monks Wallingatan in 3rd). The atmosphere is great, the food is excellent and the knowledgeable staff very helpful. Beyond that, they have the best and broadest selection of whisky in Sweden and a very good selection of beer. Lots of Belgian beer - including a certain very highly regarded trappist beer - both trappist and lambics, lots of Swedish microbrews and a very respectable selection of US beer. I had both the Expedition Stout and the Java Stout on my last visit.

Yes - A has it all (almost), but the prices are extraordinarily high. If you are looking for Belgian geuze and lambics this is the place. I hoped to find some Närke variants, but found "only" Stormaktsporter in several variations and at a price which was almost astronomical. I had to be satisficed with a couple of Bell’s stouts as we can not get these in Denmark. Under all circumstances, A is quite extraordinary place and a must if you visit Stockholm.

What is there to say about this place that hasnt been said? Pretty nice atmosphere (though it can tend to become an oldies hang out), great selection and almost always something exciting on both cask and draught, great professional people behind the bar. The cuvee list is amazing.
