One of the best places in the Universe, great selection of rare and vintage beers, nice ambience and perfect service. Good food but you will be there for beers! A must, simply.

Assolutamente il miglior posto in Europa dove bere birra, grande selezione, competenza e cortesia straordinarie e una carta di birre vintage da leggenda, un pò cari ma in linea con i paesi scandinavi. Grandissimi!

Large pub. Nice patio. Selection is not as stunning as described here. Quite a lot of your average belgian beers. Selection of (aged) lambics is magnificent though, but for the rest I wasn’t impressed at all. On Sunday’s there’s live music, which makes it a good place to hang around. Prices (in Sweden generally) are outrageous though. It’s a decent place, but lets face it: there are much better places around the world to get your beers for a better price.

Summer is not exactly the best season to visit this famous place, but Akkurat can be quite alright for beer drinking in late July. I had some decent and hard-to-find Swedish ales from cask and tap during a trading and drinking session with omhper. The beers were found to be in perfect shape, maybe chilled down a little bit too far. Akkurat keeps an amazing stock of different kinds of beers. Information about new beers is displayed on a board opposite the bar. The medium sized outdoor seating was packed with people early on a Monday eve. Polite service and pleasant, if not that great, atmosphere (visited 26.07.2010).

A bit smaller than I thought but really a nice and cozy place during the day. Quite busy on weekends especially towards the late hours. Great brews on tap and a fine selection of bottled beers and whisky. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food (had the mussels in garlic butter with different types of bread).

*The* place in Stockholm. Unfortunately it’s always packed, so don’t forget the sister pub Oliver Twist just a few blocks away. The few times I’ve managed to grab a table to food was really good. Love the service and the selection, but... a little too packed and too loud for my taste.

Much beautiful place, great atmosphere, very wide. Nice secluded angles. Elegant furnishing, cured, much English style, with attention to the details. Optimal selection of beers, some truly of great quality. Added staff all little careful and a lot, much slow one (since we were in 3 customers, half an hour for a plate of chips it’s seems too much for me).

Absolutely incredible selection of beers, including Chimay bottles going back to 1995 and American microbrews difficult to in the United States outside their local distribution. Had a chance to view their two subterranean beer cellars. Easily the largest selection of rare bottled beers I’ve ever seen.
