By far the best vintage and obscure lambic list in the world. All of the one-offs that were made by Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen just for Akkurat, plus various vintages of the regular offerings going back over a decade. They also have the Kaggens. Didn’t eat here so I can’t comment on that. Only downside... drinking in Stockholm is expensive. Save up for this place though, its worth it.

I don’t know what the picture is on Akkurat’s place rating page, but it is not what Akkurat looks like. Maybe someone got to see the cellar once upon a time and took a secret picture? Let’s face it, we love Akkurat because they have a giant selection of rare Cantiloons [sic] that most people are too cheap to actually GO TO SWEDEN for about $500-$600. But they will spend ten years and over $1000 trying to trade for these beers that ARE NOT IN CIRCULATION! Suck it up and just go to Sweden if you are that fucking desperate for rare Cantillon ticks.
Ending the rant, Akkurat is probably my least favorite place for beer in Stockholm. It is a huge place, way too big, there is a live band, there are tons of tables with people on a date, and there are tables full of people who found it hysterical that anyone would come all the way to Sweden for beer! Taplist at Akkurat, if you even bother, is good; but not any better than Man in the Moon, Bishops Arms, Belgobaren, et al. Service is..okay. Sometimes I really had to get someone’s attention and other times we were treated like royalty. The highlight was the cellar master let us try some experimental geuzes for no charge that were phenomenal. 4.3-4.4 level in my book. I do have to give selection a 15/15 because of their insane amount of crazy vintage lambic that is the best in the world probably. Food is outstanding, but not cheap. In a nutshell, you must go here, but that doesn’t mean you have to fall in love with it.

Nice, comfortable place, good food. Very respectable beer selection, highlighted of course by rare lambics and geuzes, some of which are made specifically for this bar. Prices, like all in Sweden, are shocking. But I’d rather have good beer than money.

On my trip in Stockholm this was my first stop. Went on Saturday afternoon totally dead, I was told this was because the soccer games were on and it was nice out. This was good because it provided me some ample time to talk to the staff, but a downside because there are no tvs to watch the soccer games. Atmosphere in general is pretty boring, typical euro bar, wood everything, beer memo on the wall but nothing special. There are 2 menus one for the day and the vintage or cellar menu. The cellar menu is what I want to right away. I was awed with verticals of trappist beers, westy 6, and unreal lambics such as cantillon loerik, millenium gueze & jj blauw. The selection was great, quality best in the world hands down...The staff is good very knowledgable and helpful. It was slow so the staff even took me to the cellar which was awesome. 5 floors down, I saw one of 3 cellars filled to the brim with unreal beers. Interestingly they advocate laying all lambics on there side. The price is high but this cellar.
This is a true must see, almost a reason to go to Stockholm.

Astonishing beer bar, can’t believe my eyes! It has the vasted cellar I’ve ever seen since now. The selection on taps is huge. Most of all beers from Europe, with different types of belgian Ale. Neither American beers nor Japanese. Though, not a great cuisine.

By far the number one pub in the entire world. This place is simply the best in every sector: draught, real ale, session beer, vintage and so on. The cellar has something unbeliavable, a Moloch!!

Agree with earlier reviews that the selection is certainly sufficient, with some hidden gems. Not a selection that is as thorough or deep as other top beer bars, though. Against a typical pub, it deserves very high marks, for sure, and should be a destination in Stockholm for beer aficionados.

The crown jewel of Stockholm. Very friendly staff who know their business. Wide range of beers all over the world with some real antiques in the cellar. They also serve lunch during daytime (mon-fri).
