Visited a couple of times - latest a busy Friday night - we managed to get some really good mussels and some rather classy beers and whisky. Lots of high quality stuff on tap, did not ask for the bottle list. I had a Cantillion on tap which blow my socks off. Excellent ambiance a Friday night - but not something for some quiet ticking - go here a workday. All in all: An excellent spot for a night out when in Stockholm. Outside Gamla Stan which makes it less touristy.

Catching up on reviewing places. Visited this back in May of 2012. This place lives up to its reputation for service, food and most definitely the beer and vintage selection. The regular menu and cuvee (vintage) menu is by far the largest and finest selection of beers available of any bar I’ve seen in the world. Prices, though high, in some cases for the vintage selection, its worth every penny to me for the ability to try these and service provided. We were fortunate to meet one of the owning partners who was overly nice and generous during our 2 visits while in Stockholm. We had dinner one night which was great for the food selection. Met a few locals who were great to talk to and frequent it for the beer, food and service. A bar that truly lives up to its top ranking as the best beer bar in the world. Highly recommended visit if you ever find yourself close to Stockholm.

Pretty standard pub look on this rather large place. Service varies - this place gets crowded during the weekends and at that time the service is at best ok. Food is really good. The selection is as good as it gets - especially if you like lambics. Unfortunately the prices are very high. I have still not understood the hype about this place. It’s a great bar/restaurant but there are many better ones.

I went here after eating dinner with friends, at 11 PM on a Friday night, and this place was overly crowded. We weren’t able to get a table and stood, while I enjoyed a Narke brew and a friend was able to get a rare Cantillon sour brew. The only thing I would say this place has going is its selection, which is vast and impressive, especially for what I’ve seen so far in Sweden. From an ambiance perspective, it has the layout of an American T.G.I.Fridays. As well, 11 PM on a Friday and there were people stumbling around significantly...but that’s probably any bar around the area. I would for sure go back though, just on a quieter night.

Located in the busy end of Hornsgatan, this rather big venue seems to be a favourite beer place among the locals. I visited it on a Wednesday night and could hardly get a place. The interior is impressive. There are three series of taps and a long, rather narrow aisle with massive wooden tables and benches. The selection is really impressive, too: more than 20 taps (with Swedish, Belgian and German beers) and a much higher number of bottles. The staff are friendly and ready to offer advice to an uncommitted beer drinker. The only drawback of this great pub is the prices of the products on offer. I left after two beers, hoping to come back again when I have become a well-off gentleman. Then I might also want to try the food.

A perfect destination for any beer safari. Great room, huge selection of bottled beers from all over the World, many of them aged, as well as a constantly updated long row of taps. Friendly staff! I’ve taken the trip from Oslo in Norway several times the last couple of years, and this is always my first destination upon arrival. Last time, in April, 2014, I was 1 beer away from my 2500th unique check-in on Untappd, so I went here, hoping to make it special. I found 120 min. IPA from Dogfish Head from 2008. An amazing experience. I can not praise this place enough! I love it.
