46 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 6/20
My visit here was part of the RBSG 04 pub crawl. I thought that food was good, albeit a tad overpriced. The beer was mediocre at best. There are plenty of other great beer spots in Portland that you would want to see first.

Large, bright and clean indoor eating area, food centers on seafood which was pretty tasty, though dish prices are a bit pricey for nothing more than being an upscale-looking place. The beer is fantastic, and anyone who is visiting Portland should put Alameda on their list.

This was pretty hard to find at first. There's about 3 different alameda establishments right in this block. Inside it's very open with lots of seating. You can see the bar, the entire brewery, the kitchen, everything from almost every table in the place. It was clean and well decored. The service was awesome (and attractive) with a good supply of beer. The beer selection was phenomenal with some cask offerings as well as their usual line up of award winning stuff. The food was typical and average for a brewpub restaurant, so that means it was still pretty good. I liked this place a lot.

This is a great place to take your family. Really upscale and modern building, it really seems to be more of a restaurant than a brewpub. The beer isn't world class, but it's good and they have some individual beers that are stunning. A little off the beaten path, but in a really laid back neighborhood.
