Great place to have a fine craft beer. Friendly people always suggests the type of beer you like. Always have been satisfied with the suggested beers. Really nice tasty burgers. Nice atmosphere to have a beer with friends on Friday night or just run in to have some beer at home. Selection, however, could be wider, but Itís the best in Latvia.

This is a very nice place. They have a good selection of bottled beers and many tap beers which are very common for craft beer people. Anyway the guy at the desk is very competent and offers you the beers for tasting before tapping. Really nice place to stay. Great!!!

Located just a short walk from the Old Town or railway station. Pretty impressive bottle shop with lots of American and Scandinavian craft beer. As I was only on a stopover en route to Caucasus I didnít buy anything, but I had a few beers in the bar. The house beers made by de Molen were nice. Very relaxed atmosphere on a Tuesday early afternoon. Didnít seem to have much local brew, but certainly a very decent selection of craft beer. Well worth a visit. (Visited 2013-05-25)

Overall the best beer shop in Lativa. And if it is any Craftbeers in Latvia it gonna be here. Nice housebbers also

Nice selection of Mikkeller, good selection of American craft beers, including some Michigan and Alaska brews I did not expect to see in Latvia; the bottles are stocked in a hot, non air conditioned room so I am not sure what shape the beer is in; the staff is at least tri-lingual (Latvian, Russian, English); a bit off from the center of town but was worth the walk; some local (or Russian) gangsters with extensive tattoos and funky rings were amused that I was taking beer notes :-)

Went there twice and was equally non impressed both times. The bartenders didnít seem to care much about beer and were slow to respond to questions. I was impressed by the selection of Mikkeller and US craft beer but that was not why I had come; the selection of Latvian beer was zero and their own house beers, rated the best of Latvian beers, are brewed at De Molen in Netherlands. By all means, they have a great selection of beer but you pay Norwegian prices and wonít find anything local here.

What an extraordinary development. Out near the embassies and posher shops, a couple of blocks out of the centre from the Old Town. Can I really get 8-Wired in the Baltic States? Plain but classy decor, sound menu and the best international beer selection this side of Helsinki. Three houses beers from De Molen. The token Latvian beer is Tervetesí better blond. Prices expensive fro Riga but absurdly low for visitors from better-healed parts of the world. Much US, a few German and British, loads of Mikkeller.
