Not a bad place. I wasnít that impressed with anything here. They had Speedway Stout with Turkish Coffee Beans available, and a porter that I havenít seen anywhere else, but they didnít have a single bottle to purchase that I canít purchase in Seattle. They had two taps that I canít find anywhere, so going here means that Iíd get two things on tap that I canít find elsewhere. Iím not seeing a reason to visit anymore, in that regard. The service was nice. It was quite relaxed, but again, after one visit, I think Iím good.

Clean, classy, very nice but quite small, minimalistic. A good array of their beers on tap and some bottles for purchase. Glad they always seem to have something special, some variant, some one-off beers on tap and I really wish more breweries had this. Nice to be able to get beers in a variety of pour sizes. And then of course the beer, which is world class. They donít make a bad beer, or even an average beer, each one is fantastic. I would go every day.

A small but adequate tasting room. Very clean and neatly laid out. They has pretty much all the AleSmith standards on tap plus around three or four specials, including one Speedway variant. They offer tasting-size pours on all beers in addition to larger pours. The value is pretty decent. The staff was extremely friendly. A fair range of bottles for takeaway. You can also get growlers of some of the beers (not the specials). Given this breweryís stature in the beer world I would say this place is a must-visit. Itís right near Hess so take them both in when youíre in the area.

Industrial brewery, pretty simple brewery operation, about 15 taps with a speedway variant and BA Nut brown on tap, great stop

One of my favourite breweries, so obviously it was an awesome experience. We came here for San Diego Beer Week with 11 variations of Speedway Stout on tap, so how could it be better. All their beers are awesome without exception Despite it being packed, service was very quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. There was also a food truck out back (not sure if it was just for the event or if itís the norm) which served some nice grub. Obviously an absolute must stop when in San Diego.

Showed up here when I was in town with the wife for a conference. Walked in and had no idea they were doing the Speedway Grand Prix that day. 10 crazy Speedway variants on tap, plus regular Speedway, nitro Speedway, cask Speedway, a new Hammerhead Speedway, and then their regulars. Unfortunately I had no idea about the event and did not sign up beforehand, so I could not have any of the Grand Prix tasters. But did try the Hammerhead and wow it was good.
This place, like many breweries, is in an industrial/commercial park and is rather unassuming. Place was packed with nowhere to sit, but it was easy to get up to the bar and get a drink. Service was friendly and helpful, and they even had some BA Wee Heavy still for sale so I grabbed a bottle. Cool place but want to go back when it is less crowded. Might check out BA Speedway release party today, but that won't be any less packed.
They had a food truck in the back for the event but it closed up before I got a chance to have some. Otherwise no food as far as I can tell.
Overall a must visit place, as Amlesmith kills it with all of their beers.

More industrial then anything else but a nice wide open space with a great tap selection of their own brews, usually something special, all at great prices. Staff were friendly and knowledgable and happy to chat while they poured.
