My friends wanted to go to Clifton, and I agreed to go only under the condition that we went to a place that served microbrews. Alive One was what they came up with, and the selection was a pleasant surprise. They were doing a Christmas in July thing, and had Great Lakes Christmas and Troegs Mad Elf on tap. They also had FCB Double Chocolate Stout, which was new for me. Service was better than expected for a Friday night, they patiently answered my questions about taps and pricing. Pool table was missing 2 balls, but at least their was a pool table, and enough space to actually play a game or two. Glad to see some craft beer in the Mt Adams area

If this bar was picked up and dropped in a less "meat market" setting, I would hold it in a much hgher regard. The selection and the ambience are great, but itís corrupted by the fact that it sits at the crossroads of STD exchange for the CIncinnati area. Decent selections from Bells and Lindemans available but I wouldnít trust the lines for anything on draft. If youíre in the area, defer to Allynís Cafe or Zips if itís an option.

Best place in Mt. Adams. Feels like a bar in Chicago or other bigger city. Excellent beer selection and a basement bar that is really unique. Real people..real bartenders. Great bands....great place.

Corner of Pavilion and St. Gregory with street parking in front and lot parking in back. Clean older building with bar in the middle and pool tables in front and back. Upstairs opens later on Tuesday. Eight standard taps with coolers with bottle on both sides. Two dollar Tuesday on tap brews and $2.50 for bottles. I had a bottle of Two Hearted. Freindly bartender with good jukebox music. I saw a pizza delivered, I donít know for bartender or padrons. Good location and I will stop again.

This is a nice place with a great beer selection. The upstairs is nice with 2 pool tables. The basement has a secnod bar and is a real great place to hang out with dim lighting and booths. This place has an awesome jukebox. On Tuesday night they do $2 anything. Were talking anything from Bud light to la fin du monde. I used to go here every Tuesday and I miss it very much.
