Was at the BrewPub and have to say the place is absolutely amazing!! Couldnít have had better food(pulled pork and brisket sandwiches) and better beer(token, great and nelson). The price fair, the service absolutely amazing... great beer and food talk with the cooks and bob behind the bar! Thanks guys... will definitely be back soon!!!!

Went before to the brewery/tasting room then to the restaurant. Both place amazing! Shared some bottles with the man at the brewery, and all the beer that iíve tried were perfect. The restaurant was crowdy but service was good and the BBQ was very good!!! Go there if you are in california!

A really "craft" beer environment, the rustic ambience helps you appreciate more the excellent quality of beers. Flavored beer amazing, crazy hoppiness for their IPAs, you MUST go there and visit the place if you are around.

You can go into this brewer and try samples for a buck. You can also fill growlers and kegs with advance notice.

Alpine is the king of IPAs in my opinion so when I stopped by this place to see all of their IPAs available (except maybe one) I was excited. Now this place isnít the nicest place to enjoy a beer. But it is what it is. Itís a small brewery with a small tasting area. When I say small I mean it. You can see the whole brewery pretty much as soon as you walk in. Doesnít matter though, the beer is fantastic, the crew were great to talk to. I think there is only maybe 4 people who work there? I think I met them all. The area around the brewery is beautiful. I love this brewery.

This place is awesome for so many reasons; location, ambiance, and quality. Location is amazing, a quick 30 minute drive from San Diego, you are quickly transported to a small mountain town. Makes me nostalgic for small time Texas. The building is in a small strip mall with one end being the restaurant the other the bottle shop. The diner transports you back 50 years to a small town western diner. Vinyl is everywhere, Johnny Cash on the radio, and old signs. I could sit here all day and visit all the time and see new things. The selection is the only issue here as its top heavy and bottom light. The top beers are best in the world, the rest are mediocre. They offer flights of 4 and 6 beers. They had Nelson, Duet, Pure Hoppiness and Bad Boy on tap. DAMN! Amazing set of top 4 beers. Nelson fresh was one of the best beers Iíve ever had. The rest of the beers were lacking, their regular line up of Alpine Ale, Red, Card, Mcilheny, and Wily need to go away. Why make these when you have some of the best ipas in the world? The servers were helpful but not overly nice or knowledgable. For the setting and the beer this is a worldwide must visit. Come to San Diego to just visit here.

Love this place. Some of the best IPAís are coming from Alpine. Everyone is friendly. The brewery is a perfect fit for the area it is located. Canít wait for the restaurant to be ready.

Small little bar that you could drive past and wouldnt even know it existed. Definetely feels like a local bar but everyone from bartenders to customers are friendly and knowledgable about beer. Only a dozen or so bar stools and some inside/outside seating. Really chill atmosphere inside.... Food is excellent for a being a pub/bar. Get the wings... you wont be dissapointed. Beer wise they have their regular line up which is great. I will never get tired of Nelson or Duet. Their hoppy beers are argueably the most easy drinking IPAs in the world. They had couple seasonal beers and one guest tap on also a nice wine selection available. The bathroom is outside and up the hill which cracks me up but some how is still cool. Parking is fairly easy but only a couple spots. Overall: Probably the coolest place in San Diego and well worth a short drive out to visit. Due your self a favor and spent the night at a hotel in town so you can enjoy Alpine all night long!
