Tiny little place in a random little building right off the road. "This is it?" you are likely to ask yourself the first time you pull up. Yes, this is likely the best selection of IPAs available in one little tasting room that you will ever encounter. I came in for the Expo release over the summer, and they were very polite and accommodating despite the line out the door. Bonus points for beer pizza and amazing growler prices. Expo was like fifteen dollars a fill, which is insane for a huge IIPA like that. I still have my growlers stashed at my buddies house in SD, in anticipation of my next visit.

Best memory of my CA brewery tour.
The drive from Escondido is just fun in itself, going up and down the roads to Alpine.
Inside is just a small bar, with the brewery.
It has all the elements of a great family run business. Steven who works there as an employee was more than generous during my visit.
Though small, the place never sits quiet, there was always at least 1 people inside waiting to fill growlers.
Selection was small as most of the beers were not avail. in bottles, tough most were on tap.
Canít wait until they open the bbq spot next door and finish their expansion.
They are good people, making amazing beers.

This is a super cool little spot. You can take a tour of the brewery by simply walking in the front door and looking over to your left! Pat and his crew are totally friendly and willing to sit and talk to you, unless itís bottling day or the middle of a brewing session. Coming here is a glance at what brewing may have looked like in the early days, simple, compact, no frills. The beer that Alpine produces is second to none, ever beer they make kicks ass BIG TIME!!! Iím a lucky guy to be able to drive 50min and get growler fills of beers like Pure Hoppiness, Willy Vanilly, and ALL the other tasty selections. If your in the mood for good beer you should visit. Pat told me theyíre getting ready to open up a little food venue right next door, that will be incredible!!!

Tiny rustic place in tiny rustic town. Reminds me somewhat of the Redstone Meadery. Good variety, especially for their size. Would likely go back, but only for a release of one of the Hoppinesses.

Very cool little brewery about 30+ miles from San Diego. Nice little town as well. Small little tasting room with 7 beers on tap, all for sale in growlers and bottles to go. Plenty of merch and other stuff around as well. Great service, had three poeple working the day I was there. Would like to go back when they release their Imp Stout in a couple of weeks, had the barrels sitting right by the door.

Bare bones little brewery. Nice setting up in the desert mountains. Bottles and growlers for sale. Small samples available for $1.00. One of the staff was extremely friendly and conversational... the younger of the two, not so much. No tables or chairs... just a brewery with a great little Mexican restaurant next door. Bought my wife and I a growler of their Duet IPA and took it next door, sat down at one of the four tables and enjoyed killer Mexican food with our beer! Oh... and there were a couple barrels of Alpineís new imperial stout aging to the left of the front door. Canít wait to try that!
