Any time I am in eyeshot of Alpine, I stop in and fill my growler and shoot the breeze with these fine folks. Yes, it’s small and yes, it can be busy, but it’s a brewery, not a pub. If you’re there to hang out, you’ll have to deal with the traffic. The folks who run this place not only make great beer, but they are super nice folks, which makes it THAT much more enjoyable to hand over my cabbage. If anyone from ABC reads this, I’ll be seeing ya soon!

Small tasting bar right in front of the brewery. No seating or anything. Just a bar, tasters, growlers and prezels. Nice view of all the brewing equipment. The tasters are 50 cents a piece and they have most of their usual beers available as well as some rarer stuff for sale in bottles. Tons of people were coming in and out of this place grabbing growler refills while we were in here getting tasters. Long drive from San Diego, but worth it. Again, why no ratings yet? This SD crew either doesn’t rate enough places or isn’t adventurous enough.
