Nice local homebrew shop. Typically use this store for simple things or supplies that I need last minute as they are a bit more expensive than online. Knowledgable staff. Nice to have this store close by.

Couldnít ask for a better LHBS. The staff is generally very knowledgeable and passionate home-brewers themselves. The inventory is well stocked and the prices are comparable to internet prices. Raleigh/Cary homebrewers are lucky to have such a well-run brewstore in our town.

Very friendly. Staff was always availabale to answer any questions, even over the phone. Not the biggest selection but enough to handle most brewing tasks.

Mike Williams has over the years built a very successful business. The one thing Jimmy Carter did right was give us homebrewers the legal right to brew our own. Mike started the business soon after the laws changed and recently passed the torch to Mark Cook who is very educated in the homebrew/wine process. Mark is doing an excellent job with the store. Mike wouldnít tolerate anything less than perfection.

I have been shopping at this store for years. The old owner was extremely knowledgable about making beer, and the new folks arenít bad either. Not a huge selection of malt, but they make their own malt extract and you can do very well in at least approximating any beer style using various grains and extracts in various amounts. A little steep on some of e supplies (you can get a large boil pot somewhere else), but generally reasonable especially when you consider shipping costs from ordering online.

This is basicly a small local homebrew shop. Is has the basics, but its a 1 1/2 hour ride for me so itís easier to order.
