Visited on a Thursday evening for dinner. Kitchen isn’t always open so don’t plan on an afternoon meal. We sat at the bar for a couple of beers before the kitchen opened. They had a wide variety of not so frequently seen beers on tap, lots of lagers and some traditional ales (gruit, gose and berliner weisse) which was kind of cool, only the gruit was a true miss for me, several were quite average and 2 were great. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the IPA’s because there are so many much better ones in VT. The food was quite tasty, and reasonably priced, loved the pizzas. Good spot.

Visited 7-14. Really nice place inside. Pretty roomy and the brick ovens are cool. We went around lunch time and it wasn’t very busy in there. Bartender was on the ball and constantly checking on us and the few others sitting at the bar. Beer selection was pretty solid and I think they had 12 or so of their beers on tap. Nice variety to choose from based on your style preference and they had half pours, which is always a plus for me. Then you can try a few out and not get bombed. We didn’t get food, but the food others had looked and smelled amazing. Value was good and I had no issue with prices. Nice place and I’d def go back.

In all seriousness, one of, if not the only restaurant and brewery Vermont I do not like. The ambiance feels very chain like, just doesn’t fit. Service is ok, but to busy to be personable. The pizza sounds and looks amazing, but falls short. The crust is super crispy but lacks flavor. There is very little sauce, and the whole thing is super dry. Their fennel sausage is mouthwatering. The drinks focus on Zero Gravity, which throws back to older styles of beer like a vienna lager, gose, gruit etc. They are ok, and true to style but just so boring. I get how some may find this refreshing in a hop overload in Vermont, but the beers just aren’t that good.
This is a miss for me.

We enjoyed our visit to this place. They actually have more Zero Gravity beers here than the production facility down the street. The food is pretty tasty as well. Very short walk from our hotel, which is always nice. Great selection and surprisingly good food sums it up for me. Vibe-wise, it seems like a popular spot for students/early 20s folks.

Nice brewpub with excellent food. Interesting clientele as it was 40% hipster, 40% hipster families (yes, a decent amount of kids there but well behaved) and 20% everyone else. Metered parking on the street and walking distance to other good bars.

Stopped in for a beer but didn’t have any pizza. Overall a neat little place with solid brews. Worth a stop in.

Awesome brew pub / restaurant. Very central to downton Burlington. The food here is top-notch. I believe 20 taps is accurate. the selection is tremendous.

Definitely worthy of a few visits. I was impressed with the overall beer quality across a solid range of styles with the Belgians particularly fun and tasty brews. Keep in mind they have about 20 house brews. There’s also one cask offering. As mentioned, the flatbreads are delicious. The bartenders are friendly and chatty. There’s outside seating for the warmer days. A great spot.

Solid service, dozen or so of their zero gravity beers, good range of styles. Bar side seems a bit more lively.

Went for lunch with jamesewelch on a relaxed Monday noon. The building is located right in front of the line of strictly enforced parking meters that locals have become all too familiar with. First off, the large wooden entry door is gloriously attractive: looked like it was a polished maple wood; I was thinking its handle must have been bronzed. In any case, *wow*. It’s a dimly lit setting with which an incrdibly clean bar gives Burlington its magnificent reputation. Sampled 2-3 beers, all good, before finally making my decision. Our bartender could almost certainly work for the White House, as the service had been excessively top-notch. The pizza was splendidly filling and, above all, delicious. Will be back.
