As far as Iím concerned, if youíre in town for the night and are looking for somewhere to have a great brew, some nice food and chat with some folks about beer, life, love or philosophy, Flatbread is your place. The staff is friendly and know about the beers on tap. The list is always changing, and there are a variety of offerings from both in-house and "from beyond." Jeff (Bar manager) and Paul (Head brewer) have done a lot to create the best possible beer bar, with the largest list in the area and the a great collection of rare whiskies and other fine spirits. Paul is an incredibly talented brewery and never ceases to amaze me with his ability to brew a wide range of styles (English, Begian, German, etc) and nail it every time. He is very to true style but he is not afraid to experiment. Some brewpubs brew beers that cater to the "casual public," and although you will find a couple "session ales" on the list, there is sure to be a beer style up on the

Visited on a Sunday evening. Half bar, half restaurant with a brick oven in a corner. Over a dozen beer on tap, an eclectic selection of English, Belgian, German and American beers. A change of pace from the usual regional Pale Ales and IPAs. Good service. Amazing Flatbreads.

Visited 20160213. Nice popular place. Flatbreads were great. Serving only their own Zero Gravity beers if I am right, worth of visiting still.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon in Autumn. We were just here for drinks, so sat in the small bar area on the right hand side as you enter. They had about 12ish house-brewed beers on offer during our visit. I thought the quality of the beers were above average in general, with the IPAs being the best of the bunch. Saying that they didnít blow me away and there are much better beers in Burlington to be drinking. Service was fine and prices seemed all right. A decent place overall, but not the most exciting beer available in town.

Ate pizza and drank beer just once, but given the opportunity Iíd have been here a lot. For a start, the house brewed beers are very high quality. So is the pizza. Service is faultless. Prices are great. Very hard to fault.

Popular restaurant in central Burlington. Surprisingly good house beers from Zero Gravity. Tasty oven-baked pizzas made with mostly organic ingredients. 10$ lunch set is a pretty good value. Efficient service. Great spot for lunch when visiting the area.

Visited on a Thursday evening for dinner. Kitchen isnít always open so donít plan on an afternoon meal. We sat at the bar for a couple of beers before the kitchen opened. They had a wide variety of not so frequently seen beers on tap, lots of lagers and some traditional ales (gruit, gose and berliner weisse) which was kind of cool, only the gruit was a true miss for me, several were quite average and 2 were great. I wouldnít necessarily recommend the IPAís because there are so many much better ones in VT. The food was quite tasty, and reasonably priced, loved the pizzas. Good spot.

Visited 7-14. Really nice place inside. Pretty roomy and the brick ovens are cool. We went around lunch time and it wasnít very busy in there. Bartender was on the ball and constantly checking on us and the few others sitting at the bar. Beer selection was pretty solid and I think they had 12 or so of their beers on tap. Nice variety to choose from based on your style preference and they had half pours, which is always a plus for me. Then you can try a few out and not get bombed. We didnít get food, but the food others had looked and smelled amazing. Value was good and I had no issue with prices. Nice place and Iíd def go back.

In all seriousness, one of, if not the only restaurant and brewery Vermont I do not like. The ambiance feels very chain like, just doesnít fit. Service is ok, but to busy to be personable. The pizza sounds and looks amazing, but falls short. The crust is super crispy but lacks flavor. There is very little sauce, and the whole thing is super dry. Their fennel sausage is mouthwatering. The drinks focus on Zero Gravity, which throws back to older styles of beer like a vienna lager, gose, gruit etc. They are ok, and true to style but just so boring. I get how some may find this refreshing in a hop overload in Vermont, but the beers just arenít that good. This is a miss for me.
