Tidy but expensive US-style pub in the center of Oslo. Always avilable fresh and tasty IPA localy brewed. They’ve cool basement store with some long aged stuff. Communicative owner.

Visited in 2012. Very nice selection and pretty decent prices on the rare beers. The bottle selection was a surprise with some very rare bottles for sale, also some vintage stuff.

One of my favorite spots to go for a nice craft beer in Oslo, they got some really nice "homebrewed" beers on tap and I love they got tasters down to 1cl so you can actually get a beer flight of five 1cl beers! The service here is great! Knowledgeable staff that doesn’t mind to have a nice discussion about craft beer during the less busy hours. The selection on tap is nice with Amundsen beers on 3-4 taps and they always got some standards styles from the most famous Norwegian micro/macro breweries availbile and some international guest beers which are always top notch! They got a nice seating outside to enjoy warm summer days/evenings to and a big space inside where you can sit and enjoy the lovely food and beer. You can see part of the brewery through glass windows as well. The most impressing thing about Amundsen tho imo is the food menu. The food standard we are used to in Norway is far off the standard you are used to in the US :-) Here you can get a really nice dinner to go along with your beer! I recommend the fish & chips or the bangers & mash! Typical english pub meals! Haven’t explored further into the menu so far but I’m guessing most of the food is to the same high quality! It’s rare to find a brewpub which such nice food so go here if you wanna have a meal next to your beer! Forgot to mention the bottle menu, it’s really quite extensive but very, very pricy.

They had plenty of taps and every single tap was interesting. Food was pretty good and sitting outside was fairly nice though it’s not the prettiest street. The only drawback, as it always is in Oslo, is that it’s extremely expensive. But this spot is plenty good for beer tourists.

Slightly expensive. And you can really get your tab going, with this selection, and matching service. Good variety, and good selection of vintage beers.

A busy but pleasant bar in central Oslo. A good selection of Norwegian beers on top with a good number of interesting seasonal/special ones to try. Prices average for Oslo, service was OK.

This is the one of the more high end beer places in Oslo. Quite standard beers on tap, with a couple of in-house brews at tap upon visit. However, it is the bottle selection which makes this place great, and they actually had four vintages of each Westy. Otherwise great selection of Belgian beers and lots of other interesting imports. I had pulled pork for dinner, which was top notch!

Great location in the city center. Good service. The service is good and polite. Great food. Best beer selection in Oslo, including Westvleteren 12.
