Used to be free tour but now $15. This review is for when it was FREE. Awesome tour and great tasting of so many beers at the end!

A pleasant surprise. The classic Anchor Steam is unbeatable, and the brewery has a rich and beautiful history. The tour and guides were fantastic. The beer is underrated. Excellent.

Un ecxelente tour cervecero, en el cual conoces la historia y actualidad de la cervecerŪa. El personal es muy atento y capacitado, su variedad de cervezas es genial, el lugar es muy bonito. Definitivamente vale la pena.

One of my favorite brewery tours ever. Itís a real taste of the history of craft beer in an interesting area of san francisco. Nicely kept, clean and with most often with informative docents/and or people in the tap room.

Always a fun tour - glad we were able to go, a lot has changed between 2004 (when we were last there) and 2013. The tour is informative and entertaining, the folks running it seem to enjoy what they do. and thereís a hop room that will make you drool.

I canít believe I have never rated this place. Iíve been here many times (RBSG once), and I have been here to judge homebrew competitions and homebrew club of the year parties. This place is brimming with history. Clean, immaculately clean. Most beers are available to sample. Nice tour, and a gorgeous view of the city. Yes, itís a pain to reserve a tour, but itís a good time.

Finally made the trek this afternoon thanks to my Godmother in-law, who knows the president of the company. :) Great tour, extremely engaging tour guide. Following the tour you get 4 oz pours of up to eight of their beers, all served in a pretty cool tasting room. And its all free! Highly cool - recommended!

We took a tour in the early summer and had a great time. Tour was informative from a historical perspective and quite entertaining. And hell, it was free and you get to taste 8 of their beers at the end. Just call way ahead of time to get a reservation on one of the tours because they are usually booked about 2 months in advance

Tough place to get a tour, as they book up some 6 weeks on advance. Excellent tour, with lots of historical information and then a tasting of all of their beers. Our tour guide surprised us by popping open a magnum of 2010 Christmas ale. Awesome! A must visit if you can book a tour. Best of all, it's free as well as 2 posters they gave us
