A restaurant bar that seems pretty popular with the locals despite the heavy tourist traffic in the area. Nice selection of Andechser beers, 4 taps. Service was okay, good considering how busy it was the patio was completely cramped and densely smoked. IT was also very loud, which made us mainly wrap up our beers and leave. Not a bad place, just not very chill.
More of a restaurant than beer hall. No large communal tables.Thereís a covered outdoor smoking area with TVs showing football. Gets crowded and lively in the evening. Beer selection is pretty limited. I expected more Andechser beers but there were only 4 available along with some Franziskaner. The beers I had were very fresh and in great condition. Service was rubbish though. Very slow.
I sneaked in just before closing so admittingly I chopped a Hell bier quickly before they kicked everyone out. Nice outside seating and patio area. Very convenient location and a good stop if you donít make it out to the monastry.
Sat outside. Service was typical. Beer was outstanding. I sat outside because it was ash Wednesday and almost everything was reserved inside. Sat next to an old man who worked in Cincinnati for a few years.
Centrally located behind the Frauenkirche. Upstairs seats are a bit limited but there is more space downstairs. Service is very friendly and effective. Even when crowded you do not have to wait long without reservation. Food is way above the normal bavarian brewpub standards. Can be good to very good. Beer is from Andechser and of very good quality. Highly recommended.
Beautifully located in a quiet corner right next to the Frauenkirche. Sat there outside in a summer evening, very relaxing! I didnít eat something so I canít tell much about the food, but what was served at the neighbour tables looked delicious. Had their Doppelbock from tap, very tasty, although not my favourite Doppelbock.
