On the roundabout across the north side of the Menai Suspension Bridge, this large building in its own grounds is very family friendly. Itís a JW Lees pub and a great place to find this Manchester brewers ales if you are on Walesí biggest island or close by. Their conversion is plush and the main bar area that faces the road out front is of a considerable size, with other rooms adding to the capacity that are suitable for functions or events, and you can stay here too as the upper level is a hotel. The car park is large and the outdoor area to the side faces the Menai Strait and is a beautiful place to spend some time. The decor is traditional pub furniture with a healthy plushness to its appearance. Itís not the cheapest place in the area though. Lots of people come here to eat it seems.

Newly refurbished boutique style. Beer selection limited but well kept. Worth a visit as often has local bands. Can get very busy but has a beer garden.
