hey, you know what you are gonna see when you get here. the place is spotless and the grounds are well kept. the people are friendly and everyone and everything is just nice. at the end you get a couple of free beers ( i got three). the tour is actually somewhat interesting and it really isnít boring or too long. i like anheuser busch i just wish they had more selections.

So what if itís a mass-produced beer factory? Itís an interesting tour of a cool building. Very informative and lively. The beer, however, is disappointing. At least at the Coors plant one can sample some different offerings on occasion.

I never added this place because it didnít meet the websiteís "Only serves craft beer" criteria, but yes it is a must visit for any beer lover (and Bud haters). Iíve gone about 6 times in STL. If nothing else, you can gain an appreciation for the ginormous operation of this type of brewery ... the lagering tanks are bigger than most microís produce in a year. Listen to the perfectly scripted and rehearsed tour repeated over and over by the attractive and bubbly post-teen guides as they with a straight face exalt the properties of rice in their beer. Sample some of the crappy adjunct-laden beers at the end of the hour-long indoctrination, and amaze yourself that they come out the same every single time, even in 5 billion gallon batches! And the horses and dalmations are cool.

Budweiser is not very good in my opinion, but the tour is interesting. The people there are very friendly also. It is free, so I canít complain about the price. At the end of the tour you get two samples, one of which has to be Budweiser. The others you can have with your other beer are Michelob, Bud Light, and other A/B products. They also give you pretzels to eat. If only the beer was better, this would be a great tour.

If you are a beer geek or just some beer drinker you should like this place. It can appeal to just about anyone. From the wow this is how beer is made to wow this is how a super huge beer consumer makes an incredibly consistant product that never dissapoints its regular followers. Some history and arcitecture with some beer educating. Worth the trip if you are in the area. And, for what it is worth, they do give some samples at the end of the tour. Bring the family, they will enjoy themselves.

15 for rating becuase of what this place represents and just the magnitude of what they have accomplished.

I canít believe Iím the first one entering this info. In any case, this place was a huge let down. The tour was long-winded, but showed me nothing. "This is where we brew the famous Budweiser beer.....yada, yada, yada.......over here is the control room where the brewmasters push buttons......blah, blah, blah..." Seeing the Clydesdales and their "barn" was the best part, for sure. Take your kids here for the horses, but donít bother if you think youíre going to see anything interesting, that has to do with beer. The morning I was there, the packaging line crapped out 30 seconds after our group got there, so I got to see nothing.......and that was the part of the tour I was most looking forward to. That, and they only allow you TWO, yes TWO little six ounce cups per person. I figured these guys would try to upstage Coors and Miller, but both offer much better tours than A-B, at least at the flagship location. Not worth your time.
