Went on a Friday night but the place seemed a bit subdued, probably because of traffic nightmares around town. Having been to the Harrisburg and Gettysburg locations, it was only a matter of time to check this one out. The bar side was a bit more what I want out of a beer joint, but we ate on the restauarant side, which was open and seemed too bland. Service was a bit slow and the food was average. The beers were good and they had their whole lineup available.
The downtown Harrisburg was being remodeled, so I hit this location instead. Interior struggles for some identity, as it appears to be half brewpub chain and half local bar. I stopped in after 8pm during the week, and it was pretty crowded with a 21 -35 year old crowd. It was very loud and smoky. Combined with the dimly lit bar, itís not the optimum place to drink beer if you are wanting to unwind at the end of the long workday. But if you are wanting to hang out and socialize, this place seems to be pretty popular. Most of the beers are average with a few of them above average. They sell most of their beers in six packs to go. There are also a handful of bottled Belgian beers if one of their beers do not suit your fancy. I did not eat, but the food looked pretty good. The Harrisburg brewpub appears to have more ambiance as it is an older building, so I would recommend you try that location first. Plus, the Harrisburg location has a Belgian Bar upstairs.
