A grand old brewery outside of the downtown core. One side is the brewery with their big fermentation tanks, the other, the restaurant-pub, with a turn of the century look. Good pub grub is available, good service. A good sampler tray is available (8 X 4 on for 10$). Beers are OK. They did have a series of Belgian triple (the Bastone set) 3 for 12$. Take out beer available.

For a converted warehouse, itís surprisingly intimate. I went at 5:00 on a Saturday and the place was packed. Donít be fooled by the small lot next to the building. They have two parking lots behind the building and then street parking behind that. I was dumbfounded that they had happy hour specials on a Saturday. Works great for me. They have a number of taps available plus they have a separate bar area upstairs that contains a bunch of belgians stuff plus a nice outdoor area for the summer. I prefer their heavier beers to the lighter ones but they make the most amazing root beer as well that tastes even better out of the bottle. They also sell beer to go. Iíve certainly had better beer then Appalachian but as a restaurant experience, this one is hard to beat.

Hit up Appalachian after the Troegs Splinter Blue release. Lots of beers on tap with a nice selection (IIPAs to Smoked). Food was decent.

After a stop at TrŲegs we came to ABC for lunch and some more beers. The long bar and soft lighting combined with the natural light coming in from the large windows made the place quite inviting. Our heavily tattooed, super friendly, very knowledgeable server made a couple of great food recommendations and we got food orders in while working through the immense samplers. I did go with two samplers to try all sixteen of the beers they had on, and I was quite grateful my wife was playing DD since the sample sizes were enormous, and the bulk of the beers were worth drinking. Didnít get a chance to check out the abbey bar, but this was certainly a place Iíd like to have nearby, and would certainly stop at again.

A pretty solid Brewbup. A larger then average number of draft beers available here. The sampler was their core stuff, some of which Iíd had before, and none of which was particularly exciting, but it was a good place to stop for lunch on my way back to NJ. I donít have much more to add, didnít stay too long, just long enough for a sampler and a burger, but the service was good, and I would go back to try some of the more interesting offerings the next time.

An old looking Industrial brick building in the ghetto of Harrisburg, but inside the place is awesome. High ceilings and tons of wide open space. Big windows showing their equipment and fermenters. I would definitely go here again if Iím in the harrisburg area because the food was really good, its just in the wrong area of town. Went on a Sunday so it wasnít very crowded. The beer wasnít bad at all and they had lots of seasonals that rotate from month to month. Grabbed a nice looking pint glass as well.

Been to both the Harrisburg and Gettysburg locations. Gettysburg is smaller but less crowded. Lots of beer on tap, a bit hit or miss. Many are kind of bland for the seasoned beer drinker, but a less discerning tongue will find lots to like. I havent had the best experiences with waiters, but the bartenders are always very friendly and provide good service. Entrees are decent, but the spinach dip appetizer is absolutely top notch. You can get 6 packs, 12 packs, cases, and 64-ounce growlers to go.

I have visited both locations and have been twice a happy customer. The main location had about 22 different beers on draft at the time I went and i think a few cask beers. There were tvs to watch the game at the high bar and friendly and knowledgeable bartenders at both places. Got myself a pork sandwich that was excellent and the deep fried chicken/cheese balls are hard to pass up.

Nice place in the ghetto. Industrial brick feel, big and open on the inside. The service was excellent, but it was pretty dead when we were there. The selection was pretty good, lots of different beers on tap and a great menu. We had some German specials since they were celebrating Oktoberfest. Prices were pretty good too. Overall a nice place.

Let me begin with this place is dumb. They still have monthly seasonal beers from 6-8 months prior of me visiting. Granted it looks impressive that they can have 15 beers on tap but very and I mean very few actually stand out. They all seem to have the same bland taste, i.e. Jolly Scott . Also the IPA I tasted seemed to have a certain oxidized taste about it. This company has a beautiful brew house and celler and 3 other restaurant locations, maybe they should not worry so much about expanding without taking care of the beer flavors first. My only pat on the back goes to their food, well layed out and great home cooked styled entrees.
