> Very cool store+tasting bar+bottles available to drink on premise
>> Similar awesome set up to City Beer Store in SF. There’s a front large wine area and a large back beer area. In the center are two tap systems and two bars. Small but interesting selection of local specialties including some rare offerings like Pisgah Chocolatized Vortex II. Some beers are fridged but for the most part they are out warm. Nicely organized at least by brewery and by region. Found some interesting things like Basque Sidra, La Rulles Estivale, no De La Senne was strange, Pisgah BA Vortex II (small bottle release). 900 bottles doesn’t seem too far off- the selection is insane. Staff was friendly. Glassware selection was extensive. Loved this place.

Medium sized beer and wine store. Really nice selection of single beers and bombers. In addition, they have around 16 taps available, with a pretty nice selection of good local, regional, and foreign beers. Definite place to check out.

This is a solid beer and wine store in Asheville, complete with a tap station. There is a large selection of beer, local, regional, and imports, all at pretty reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and quite knowledgeable about the beer.

Large bottle selection, large import selection. Almost all of it out in the light and at room temperature. Even green glass bottles. Got lucky with a La Rulles Estivale in decent shape, even with the green glass. As happy as I was about that, I was just as unhappy about burning $12 on a Dupont La Bičre de Beloeil which was light struck and sour.

Visited during the 2014 RBWG. A large shop with wine, spirts and beer. Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A nice setup of the beers that made it easy to browse and like that they had a bar as well with a nice selection. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for good selection.

Great beer store with taps, not too far from the heart of Asheville. Really nice and clean store, with wine up front, beer in the back, and a bar in the middle. The prices were good and so is the service. Lots of great local and regional stuff to be found here. The tap selection is all over the map, but I found a few gems for sure. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Large, well-organized shop just a few minutes walk from the center of town. Stopped in for RBWG 2014, and staff offered a flight of interesting beers and some swag. Interesting local & regional selection, and even some bottles I hadn’t seen from Italy and Belgium. A worthwhile stop.

A huge shop, but what makes this place special is the the center bar with a ton of taps. Drinking and buying beer, what could be better? I know, very rare and exclusive beers. A definite place to go, its just a bit out of the way.

Awesome place. Appalachian Vinter’s a large, well-appointed shop with a great selection of bottles and an impressive tap list. I visited during RBWG, and they were nice enough to give free flights to the whole group. The bottle selection’s a solid mix of locals and bigger names from across the states. There was a surprising amount of stuff from Italy on offer too. Prices were very reasonable. Service was great. Overall, an essential stop if you’re in Asheville.

Great little bottle shop plus 20 taps in Asheville. A bit farther out from downtown but worth a trek. Selection seemed comparable to Bruisin’ Ales plus the taps, which included some vintage and harder to find brews.
