Wine shop located near Haymarket with a decent beer selection. Fairly comprehensive Scottish selection and some American stuff, but really nothing that I couldn’t find elsewhere. The guy working there was however rather helpful and friendly. A decent stop if in the area, but I was bit underwhelmed given some of the other glowing reviews!

A small shop near Haymarket in Edinburgh. Owner Ash is always up for a discussion of beers and gives good recommendations, especially on Scottish Beer. Very nice selection of Scottish Craft Beer and a good deal from around the world, especially the US. Less fun when Ash is not there. Has a good selection of Wines as well. Does tastings several times a month with visiting experts. Prices are in the high end, but that comes with the wide selection.

My local shop, and a great one. Great selection of mainly Scottish, American and Belgian beers with more appearing every time I go in. Would love to see some more English beers making an appearance, the likes of Thornbridge and Kernel are near impossible to get up here, I’ll keep asking and hoping! Very friendly too, always up for a chat.

Small shop in the west end of Edinburgh that has an extensive selection of beers from Scotland and Belgium plus a few varieties from elsewhere. This was my first visit to the shop and I was impressed with the selection and the friendliness of the staff.

A well stocked shop with some of the finest Scottish ales around. Also stocks a very good and extensive range of Belgian beers as well as other beers from around the globe. Ash, who runs the store, is very knowledgable and passionate about beer, particularly Belgian varieties. He is always happy to talk at length about the beers he sells and beer in general. My only gripe is that the shop is on the wrong side of town for me

Always like going in when it’s quiet - Sunday afternoons are good - as Ash is always prepared to have a chat.

A great shop with a more-than-decent range of unusual beers, not commonly found elsewhere in Edinburgh. The proprietor, Ashton, is very friendly, knowledgeable and keen to help. A very pleasant place to browse and pick up a few new friends! Also does frequent tastings - wine, beer and whisky.
