A great delicatessen run by a lovely lady who knows her products. And there are so many products! Strong cheese is in the air. There’s cheese everywhere. And olives! And ham! You get the idea! And then everywhere there’s a gap, there’s a selection of local beer. It’s centred around Shropshire but there are ranges from Staffordshire, Devon, Herefordshire, Merseyside and the West Midlands too. A great find for local beer ratings that you won’t find in the shops that have all the trendy stuff.

Tiny little deli that’s crammed to the rafters with stuff in a pleasantly haphazard way - a local beer may be next to an aged balsamic and then a US craft beer. The beers are scattered round theshop seemingly at random, so keep looking (and browse the lovely food while you’re doing. Decent selection of Shropshire beers from several breweries, plus some US beers (remember a Clown Shoes stout) and some expensive-looking Italian beers. Unfortunatley the beers aren’t priced, and you have to ask the staff for the price of each one, but they’re very friendly and chatty so this is no real hardship! Nice little shop, I’d definitely go back if I was in the area again.

Old, well established Deli with a good selection of both local and regional beers on offer. The cheese selection is also very impressive. A proper shop with pleasant staff who have time to chat and pass the time of day with their customers: well worth popping in and having a look around.

A deli that stocks a small selection a bottled ales. It’s a mix of local stuff, plus some interesting beers from a bit further a field. While there’s not masses of it, the selection is well chosen with a range of different styles and strengths on offer. I picked up a few imperial stouts and other intriguing sounding brews.

We visited here Saturday 25th August 2012. I have to say that I was very impressed with this place both from a food and also obviously drink perspective. The choices of beers was really quite decent with new and rarer beers from Wye Valley, Bewdley and Hobsons amongst others and cider from Once Upon a Tree including the more expensive Ice Cider and premium sparkling ciders. Prices were pretty good, service very good, small but really busy and interesting little Deli.
