Good selection of their beers. Reasonable prices. Had a great time with friends.

This was my go to place from 95-mid 2000s. After a change in brewers around then they started having a lot more variable beer quality. I stop in every so often for a sampler and there usually a mix of really good beer to okish beer. Last night had the most consistently good beer Ive had here in several years. Great job. It’s always a good place to down a few, friendly and casual. Some of their best beers are the dry stout, porter on the hand pull, if you like cascade hops the IPA on the hand pull. Food is good, usually busy nice crowd, if in Ann Arbor should stop in. The monthly tastings they run are really fun and the owners are great folks.

This place is great. They rotate every tap, they do not even constantly keep their flagships on tap all the time. Bartender was great and very knowledgeable. Another cool thing is that if you order a sampler, you have to get every single beer that they have on tap (about 14-16 and 2 casks), you cannot tell them not to give you their witbier just because you do not care for them, you have to get everything or nothing.

Ambiance is pretty stanrdard restaurant feel, with a decent sized bar. Service was good, but not great. Selection was decent sized, but nothing too great. Beers were fairly priced for their quality. Worth stopping to get some ticks if in Ann Arbor.

Arbor Brewing company is a staple of the Main Street downtown Ann Arbor area. I tend to go there less than other places in town, as the food isn’t quite as good as elsewhere (like Jolly Pumpkin and Grizzly Peak). The beer selection is excellent, though I would love to see more rotating taps. One beer I have not seen them bring back--and wish they would--was a specialty beer called Tree Town Brown. It was a dark brown IPA and one of the best beers I have had in town. Overall, you should definitely stop by when in Ann Arbor, even for just one beer on your way to other brewpubs around.

Really liked it here, more of a bar than a restaurant, good beer, nice sours to go in 750’s, and the food I had was very good as well!!

Went here for Beer Brunch. 2 beers and a 3 course brunch for only $16 - a real deal. However, there wasn’t much variety in the beers they had on tap at the time and the food was very average (the cinnamon roll being nearly inedible). Seemed like a nice space though with a really nice old shuffleboard table.

When I visited: March 2012. What I had: Sacred Cow IPA (cask), Tree Town Brown Ale (draught), New Holland Dragon’s Milk (bottle), Andouille & Salmon Étouffée, pinot grigio and pasta entree for the lady. What I liked: Cool vibrant atmosphere in this busy college hangout, booths provide some privacy, fast no frills service, several seating options, solid food, decent prices. What I disliked: House beers left much to be desired and bottle selection was smaller than I expected. Nice to find Dragon’s Milk though. Would I go back? Possibly. Overall Rating: 70
