Little Pizza /brewpub near the UNC-Asheville campus. The Pizza is excellent, and the beer was fresh and tasty.

Looks like an alien ship crashed into this place. Its a little bit north of the main downtown area, but worth the short drive. Very cool place, great service, amazing pizza and of course their own great beer plus guest taps. You could take hours staring at all of the art on the walls. My personal favorite is the picture of God handing Adam a beer. (lthink the God touching Adam in the famous sistine chapel painting) They even have a movie theater inside that you can bring your brew in with you! A truly unique place and a gem.

Located in another converted building, with an eclectic mix of brewpub and movie theatre. The interior is slowly being painted, stickered, of laminated so that eventually you wonít know what the original materials were. I sat at the bar and while the service was pretty good and we got an extra glass in my pint, it clearly wasnít the bartenderís best day. The beer was served in cold glasses, annoyingly, so you have to wait for the porter to warm so I could get some aroma. The have a subscription plan which would be worth it just to get a warm glass. The food was pretty good, my burger was juicy and the fries were pretty good.

Nothing fancy but it was clean, they had a good selection of their brews with descriptions, and the pizza that I had was better than most.

Stopped here to try out some local brews while in the area. You get to pick your own flights, which is nice, so you can try exactly what you want For a small place, they have quite a few brews on tap, mostly their own and almost all local. Food is decent, but nothing to speak all that highly of. Definitely worth a stop if youíre in the area.

Very cool place, funky decor, happy and attentive staff. The food is very good and the beer good to pretty good. Itís definitely worth a special trip just for the coolness factor and the relative quality of the food and beer. But, if you canít make it and are staying int he area, no worries....they will deliver food AND growlers to you! If I lived there I would take much advantage of that.

Cool little surprise. Walked in for lunch on a visit to Asheville and ended up staying for a couple hours, then coming back for a movie later that night. Pizza was solid, and beer was decent. Very cool vibe; my favorite part was the mugs you can reserve and have hanging on the walls there if youíre a local. Worth a stop if you find yourself in Asheville.

North on Merrimon Ave from Bruisin Ales. It seems to be a movie theater as well. Amazing decor. From Star Wars Cantina scene murals to Raising Arizona on the bathroom doors, Aquaman, Castle scene, to pizza and beer Dali. Very cool. Beers are well done as well. Pizza is well made... endless toppings. Basics to extreme (even peanuts??) Great stop.

My first stop in Asheville. Went here for dinner and a few brews. The atmosphere is very laid back; overflow parking, which was needed. I didnít get the chance to visit the other location. This one is just outside of the heart of downtown Asheville. The beer here was, what Iíd term as pretty good but nothing amazing. A handful of decent guest taps to go with their house brews. The pizza was solid. The wait staff did a good job. I appreciate the patience as we were catching up with a friend and sat there a while before ordering food. Free WiFi is easy to get on. I was kind of expecting a downtown vibe but this didnít have that feel. The patio area is just okay. Seemed like a popular locals hang out and certainly family friendly. I enjoyed this place.

Cool place, a few miles north of downtown. Friendly bartenders and at least a few beers worth trying. Go there for lunch and get the buffet. Not an enormous selection, but man is it a good value. One of these days Iíll actually go there at night for a pizza and a movie.
