Small collection of cold singles and warm six packs with a cider or two. Most are local products. Store is your average boutique wine and cheese and pickled thing shop.

In between Aloft and Wicked Weed. Down street from Bruisin’ Ales. They tend to get the more sought after bottles and they still had some in stock long after better known beer stores in the area were long sold out. Worth checking out especially since you will likely walk by it going to Wicked Weed.

Visited in July, it’s clearly a wine shop with beer as an after thought. They have a decent selection, and worth a try if the first and second tier shops in Asheville are out of your favorite, they might have it. Maybe. The staff didn’t seem to be to hip to their beer inventory, so I’m not sure how much help they’ll be. Maybe I asked the wrong guy. Not a destination, but as I said, worth a try if you’re desperate.

Very clean, upscale wine store full of lots Of wine. They are maybe 15% beer and they have what you would find at a typical earth fare or whole foods store. I don’t think they see many people under 50 in here but if some guys going to walk in offs th street and buy 3-4 cases of wine, which I saw happen twice within 20 minutes, I’d wait on them first as well. Beer here is an afterthought, no doubt. The only reason to come here is for what they have they have really cheap prices. Like 8 bucks for Local 1 cheap.

High end wine store. Smallish-medium beer selection but great quality. $4 Asheville 22s. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful WINE shop. Help seems a little militant, almost like if you are not an attractive woman, rich business man or a wino you are wasting their time. If you are looking for beer go else where.

Well located in downtown Asheville but seems to cater more to high-end wines. The three workers were too interested in some paper on the register than me perusing the rather weak beer selection. Save yourself a trip and go to Bruisin’ Ales instead.

I probably wouldn’t have stopped here if not for the fact that it is right next to the public lot where I parked. Also it’s about 3 doors down and across the street from Barley’s, which makes it convenient. Not a huge beer selection, but what they have is thoughtful. You will probably find a couple of oddballs here you won’t find anywhere else. The prices were pretty good and the people were very nice and very helpful. Worth a stop if you have the time.

Very spacious and somewhat upscale wine place. The selection of beers was not extensive, but they did have a few beers that I did not see elsewhere, even at bruisin’ ales. Prices were about average. Staff was friendly and actually knew some about beer. Worth a peek to score something unusual for the area.
