42 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 2/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 8/20 ceciledelth (10) | December 17, 2011 too much classic selection but a lot of belgium craft beers. Bad service, bad food | 40 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 9/20 ben_p (10) , France | December 14, 2011 expensive and noisy. don’t go | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 12/20 Romain (11) Paris, France | November 12, 2011 If you love Belgian beers, the Trappist is made for you. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 max62 (7) , | October 10, 2011 Bon rapport qualité prix | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 19/20 RB1 (5) Gilbert, Arizona | September 8, 2011 Very nice location, walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Located on a beautiful little tree lined side street, (4 rue Saint-Denis). Sidewalk tables are best by far. Belgian beer selection is very good, with all Trappistes available except Westvleteren (so what’s new). Waiters are okay, bar tenders are very helpful and informative. Food is quite good. Everything is expensive, but this ls Paris. Don’t complain; you could be doing much worse than sipping a Rochefort 10 while watching beautiful Parisian women walk by. I have been to Au Trappiste several times and have never been disappointed. | 28 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 5/20 hophop (11) , Scotland | August 12, 2011 Expensive, predictable Belgians served by rude Parisians. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 giardinobirra (25) , Italy | August 7, 2011 Good belgian beers, and that is not easy to find in Paris! Service could be better. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Strebs (104) St. Louis, Missouri | May 14, 2011| Updated May 1, 2012 The prime location should make this the hq for any beer lovers visiting Paris. The selection is not adventuresome, but solid with all of the commercially available Trappist beers available, plus some other nice choices. The manager, Andre, ensures that the service is what it needs to be. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 13/20 cagou007 (18) , France | October 20, 2010| Updated February 11, 2013 A good selection of Belgian beers (one of the best for a pub in Paris !) and a cosy ambiance for this pub in the center of Paris. The service can be friendly or barely good depending on who you got... And prices are definitely expensive. |
