Visited during GABF 2008. Located behind a car wash. The taproom that day was amazing with seldom seen beers and some taproom only specials which I took advantage of. I instantly became much more impressed with Avery as a brewery after my visit. I look forward to a return visit every year I go back to GABF. Outstanding...Re-visited this place during GABF 2009. Even after my visit last year I was still blown away by the selection of beers. The taproom was much more crowded this year so I was able to go on an unscheduled tour. I still haven’t tried the food but as far as my 2 experiences during GABF week this is an absolute must visit taproom.

The tasting room is such a great place. Avery makes some phenomenal brews. Great people who genuinely love beer and aren’t shy to express it. I learned a lot from just little conversations about brewing and beer. A must go.

Was able to stop in on a trip to Boulder. Tasting room and brewery onsite in an industrial park east of Boulder. Good food and TONS of taps (+20). They have all the standard stuff you see in stores and a bunch of test brews that range from good tries to sheer brilliance. This is evidenced by the fact the have an entire warehouse of barrels aging their various concoctions. Definitely a place to go!

Must see brewery in Colorado. You can try probably 10-15 beers including some incredibly strong ones. I would recommend having a DD if you really want to try everything they have to offer. The employees are some of the nicest people I have ever met at a brewery.

Wow, I can see myself getting in trouble here. Amazing beer selection and service. Did not eat the food. Liked the brewery tour a lot. I can tell the staff here is very proud, and should be!

Was there for the 15th aniversary. The beer is excelent, the food was outstanding and the special vertical tassting impressive.

Visited 4/13/06. Our first host was Peter, an enthusiastic Aussie. He handed us off to none other than Larry Avery himself. We loved the visit, but don’t expect more than a tiny little tasting room ... no, nook. We didn’t need a tour, so we were fine as long as they kept giving us tastes, which they were happy to do. They also had some really cool powerhouse beers on tap that aren’t available anywhere, so this was a very cool stop. Thanks, guys!

It’s hard to compare this to other beer bars, only because they just sell their own beers. The beer was great, with several brewery only selections. The food was was good, and reasonably priced. The bar was well designed. We were in Denver for a cross-country road trip and had to stop. Make sure to visit, if you’re in town.

Great selection of beers. Excellent and friendly service. Great prices. Very cool. The food selection looked pretty good too.
